Damn, I just love what you did with the audio. So clear, I can hear the vocals perfectly. Aside from that, I can’t believe people are still posting tgcf reaction videos. Btw, when you said spoilers for books 1-5, did you mean the Chinese or English version? Because English is supposed to be getting eight books-that’s what I heard anyway.

Ik this is late, but when they meant spoilers they meant the original web novel books, in the english books it'll sometimes say end of book __ in the middle of the book. thats what they mean btw

I don't like huaqing at all (mostly cause I can't see Hua Cheng being in love with nobody else but Xie Lian), but the video is pretty good! And ngl, xianle quartet sounds pretty fun. :D

same! the video was amazing and i adored every second but the Huaqing threw me off cause mans waited 800 years loving one person and I just can't see him loving another? I can only see the ship being one-sided at best...the angst if Mu Qing fell for the two guys who love no one but each other? Mu Qings luck right there. XD

That is a genuine question I agree with XD I assume it is cause of the fact they are both good looking and dislike each other making people like the trope of 'they hate each other but secretly like each other' I can't ever see it working, ever. But it is most likely the 'why not?' ship of tgcf even though it literally makes zero sense at all. as Hua Cheng would never not be in love with Xie Lian and Mu Qing? well Mu Qing is himself. I would never ship it myself as it be depressing for Mu Qing to always be second place in the eyes of Hua Cheng when compared to Xie Lian. MQ deserves to be number one in the eyes of the person he loves and no matter how much He could Love Hua Cheng...I can't Imagine a world where MQ replaces Xie Lian as Hua Chengs number 1 priority and love...a ship where he is forever the second best? is too sad and angsty for me. you would literally have to rewrite the entire past to make it work...like perhaps instead of Xie Lian helping him as a child it was Mu Qing but based on present times where Hua Cheng was in love with Xie Lian for 800 years? I can only see it ending in tragedy for MQ who already has problems with feeling not as worthy due to being a servant...imagine being compared to Xie Lian? how can he imagine to beat him for Hua Chengs affections?
