As a repository of knowledge I could see this a valuable addition but yeah that price is a little steep for what you get.

Got this for Xmas. Nice information on halflings though personally I hate the new halfling artwork and have taken to changing some of the worst to gnomes instead.

All but the core rulebook are very very light on crunch for this game. It seems what crunch there is is spread thin over a lot of other books filled primarily with lore. I would really like to see something like the Old World Armory and a career compendium. Also it is a real shame the Runesmith is not in this book, especially since the Ogres get the Butcher (which is their "wizard) in the second Archives book.

Love me some Warhammer, but whoa, expensive!

I wish they would come out with a book of NPCs. That would be very handy and would be a great source of adventure ideas.
