My personal theory for inevitable and the end of the musical.(Even though it isn't canon it makes me feel better) So my theory is that Emma is hallucinating all of inevitable. That Paul survived but still had a bit of spores in him and has a slightly singsongy voice. Leading Emma to assume the worst, and her, pardon the pun, inevitable ptsd gave her hallucinations. And Paul is trying to calm her down, to Emma his attempts are totally different. Everyone else is actually just hospital staff trying to calm her down, with the end them just tackling her. So that's my theory everything turns out alright for the 2 of them in the end it's all fine.

Couple of thoughts because this made me realize a lot of things Jons performance in Let It Out is so underrated. Honestly the two personalities are so distinct and well defined like they even have their own different voices and that’s hard enough to do talking but while SINGING absolutely incredible I never noticed the lil PaulXBill crumbs but they’re really sweet like I’m not your seed when they hold hands or in Let it Out when all the aliens are touching Paul he almost vomits and tries to make himself smaller but when Bill touches his face Paul actually reaches out for him too and like I don’t ship them but that shits cute Inevitable is legit too upsetting for me to watch so I never watch it but honestly it’s pretty iconic if you can ignore the pain

this whole video and the constant robert stanning is something i deeply relate to on a spiritual level

my bi ass is completely in love with everyone in this show and in starkid in general. also this entire show & cast are so unbelievably iconic, so much depth, thought and detail put into a show that could just be seen as something silly. (i'm pretty sure show stopping number is most people's number one so i don't blame you lmao)

Yessss, some more appreciation for Inevitable! And if it’s any consolation, once Emma is *inevitably* taken over, she and Paul can have a happy ending in the afterlife... Also no shame for Show Stopping Number. Robert is an INTERNATIONAL TREASURE and that song is such a bop.

What I love about Inevitable is that the audience laughs when Paul sings the first “Emmaaaa...”. He sounds like he’s joking around, making fun of what happened. But then some seconds go by, and we see that he really is possessed. I literally couldn’t believe it until the end. I really thought he was just pranking her and that broke my heart even more.

That shift from "Coming apart at the seams-" to "I've never been happy." Hit me harder than Jamies vocals

After watching TGWDLM and re-watching all the other Starkid Musicals for the second time (at least), I realized how many of them Robert is actually in. At the time I had no idea who he was... and I've never been more ashamed of myself. Imagine, a world without knowing who Robert Manion is...

Lauren during Inevitable and the little bit afterwards is just *MWUAH* chef's kiss, perfection I legit can't watch that scene without feeling uncomfortable, not only because her acting is god-tier, but if you think about the implications of anyone being in that state of terror just a few feet away from people with cellphones who are capable of helping but choose to *laugh* *instead*, it's so deliciously tragic The audience adds so much to the performance overall, but their reaction to the ending just absolutely drives that scene home.

The editing in what do you want had me ROLLING Personally i just like that song because its such a clever inclusion in this show, since the show as a whole plays on musical theatre tropes and this is the aliens' attempt to get Paul to sing a classic "I Want" song (see: Part of Your World, Once Upon a Dream, etc). Since professor Higgins (hidgens?) willingly joins them this way, it means they were trying to get him to join the ranks without necessarily killing him, which is also clever and subtle when youre so focused on the crackhead energy jeff is giving off.

Not Your Seed is 100% my top song from the show. It’s so emotional and it just shows how emotionally manipulative the aliens can be. Also Mariah is insanely talented and her voice sends shivers down my spine.

For people who complain about show stopping number being overrated, I know, it is. For a very good reason. Because Robert has a beautiful voice that turns me straight every time.

listen what do you want would be one of the top starkid songs ever (character and plot establishment, humour, creativity, memeability) but it makes everyone feel like they're having heart palpitations and a panic attack at the same time so we shove it into a corner of 'never again'.
