I think I'm pleased with how this turned out.
I'm beginning to accept that my vision never comes out at all like I want it to, but what I do make is decent enough.

This is PHENOMENAL. It is upsetting how underrated your work is, but I feel so lucky to be one of the relatively few who get to appreciate your edits. Truly a gem.

Oh Valar give me strength! I- It pains me to see how unrecognized this is, because it is genuinely the best Hobbit/LOTR video I have ever seen! First of all, the choice of song is perfect, as well as this remix/cover which I have never heard before but absolutely adore. It brings a much more dramatic, desperate feel to the story you are telling and I think works so much better than the original song would have in this scenario, because it immerses you so much more with the firm, fast-paced beat. Your transistions! The way the screen panned from scene to scene, character to character in time with the song as well as inverting the colours for a split moment with those more electronic sounds in the music, it was breath-taking and was one of the many perfections in this video! Your choice of scenes with all the climaxes of the battles where the music was loudest and most victorious, as well as all the most emotional scenes with all the deaths of the most beloved characters during the slow, painful moments in the song. You portrayed this story so beautifully in just over three minutes, and yet it was more heart-clenching, and I will say this again, immersive, than ever before! I would say I was speechless, but clearly not. You have rendered up all the passion I have for these works of Tolkien's yet again, and I thank you for it, because you have clearly spent so much time, effort, dedication and love into the making of this masterpiece that I cannot truly do it justice with even this ridiculously long comment. Thank you so much, and well done as well as good luck!

The downside to being a small channel is of course the lack of views, but I am hoping that with patience & time & loyal subscribers that will steadily change. My skills are growing and getting better with each video so I'm hoping that my creations have people sticking around for more. I'm so glad you could see why I picked this version of the song!! I was considering using the original since I enjoy it too but it wasn't the right atmosphere/tone for the edit I wanted to create. Logging in to read your comments today has been an absolute joy !! It is so rewarding for me as an editor to see someone who understand why I picked certain scenes for parts of the music & who has genuinely enjoyed what I've created. Comments like yours make all the stress worthwhile!! Thank you so much dear one!!

Amazing edit! You've got a lot of skill. Your lighting, transitions, video quality, colors, and clip choices are all fantastic. I would say, though (and this is probably just personal preference) that you do put in a bit too many frames per second at some parts. Fading in and out of all of them adds to that feeling, and while I enjoyed the video it gave me a bit of vertigo because it flipped through each image so fast. That's only in some parts tho, this is still an awesome vid! Keep up the great work!
