5th hero would be a solution for when you are upgrading heroes. If you are upgrading 1 hero, you still can use the other 4.

We haven't gotten all the defense upgrades for 16 yet. Except for the "pros" very few maxed 16s out in the wild. Why the rush?

Maybe Supercell could make the 4 Hero Buildings currently in the game for the 4 different types of Heroes in the game into Hero Building for different types of heroes.. The Barbarian King Hero Building could become a Tanking Hero Building; The Archer Queen Building could become a Range Damage Dealer Hero Building; The Grand Warden could become a Supporting Hero Building; while the Royal Champion Building could become a Defense Targeting Hero Building. However, they want to add more heroes to the game in the future. But they only 4 heroes on the map during an attack and defense. Each Hero Building could Swap what hero a player wants displayed on the map and used in an attack. As well as upgrade the heroes. And players would only be allowed to take 1 of each type of hero into battle. Players would have to click the hero building and select what hero they want to upgrade, or what hero they want for defense, or what hero they want for an attack. And this will allow Supercell to add tons of heroes to the game without going over the 100 building limit in home village map. 1. Tanking Hero Building: Unlocked at Town Hall 7 a. Just stick to the 18-month period. I barely catch up to TH16 (a bit rushed).

To keep the business side in check, maybe they can make it so if you have the gold pass, you can use your heroes while upgrading, but at their previous level.

Good opinions clash. Tbh nobody seems super thrilled about the 12 month timing between TH. Almost everyone in my clan seemed exasperated. People are feeling a little exhausted and skeptical of the money grab.

New townhalls should for sure stick to 18-months, it allows for a more full and immersive feeling into the game coz now from th13 and up, it feels you are trying to rush to get to 16 etc

Even if you buy gold pass every month and play semi regularly, 12 months is still too less to max out and enjoy the feeling.

The survey is referring to a few months ago there was a survey you could fill out it the news tab, it talked about features within the clan, some where: polls, multiple clans connecting kind of like global chat but only chat between a few selected clans, more features and direct messaging in the searching for players tab for recruiting players, and more things that are quality of life especially for clan leaders

You know what wpupd be sick is if clan villages can be beside each other like how it looks lile in war map, but they actually are next to each other. In war the two clans can just be next to each other like they discovered each others villages and declare war

the part on the 12 month cycle to the next townhall and the current building upgrade times, to me seem a bit tedious even with "books and gems" . im th15 and im not a massive spender but even then, due to the shop and the traveler being limited on what they give with weekly deals, its not possible to max in that time if you're a regular working individual. now im not against progress but with the costs of walls alone and what league you're in especially, the 18 month wait seemed more ideal. there's alot of other things that would help such as levels to the builders themselves....not exceeding the level of the hut but the time they spent on buildings would be drastically improved. like currently it takes 13d 6h to get a cannon to level 21....but a builder at level 5 would take 10d if much and if you use the builder potions to cycle them faster would be a plus. if the shop remains the same then current deals would make these items highly sought after.

as townhalls progress and upgrade time increases i feel adding maybe another 2 builders to the teir schedule to help accelerate whats going on would be one of hte simpliest ideas

Interesting informations, though I do highly doubt we will see a 5th hero at the next TH level. Having only a year between TH's would be unbelievable, especially for active players that are maxed. I'm just about ready for the next update with only a few bombs left to finish off.

Maybe for the hero soluation you're only allowed to use 1 hero if regardless of how many heroes you're upgrading. To make it more clarifying, I'm saying if all 4 heroes are upgrading, you should be allowed to select which hero you want to use and you can't use the other 3.

remember that most players dont do war on cooldown due to not all clans doing them that often so your view of how many resources is good and balanced is probable scewd a bit clan capital is probably a bit stale but you also do it on many accounts as many casuals probably dont. its ofc good to see the perspective from a hardcore player like you (i assume COC is ur main game) i would love to know how many has COC as theyr absolute main game, i am a pc player myself so i play other games and then i play COC most days when i have extra time on the bus or whatever.

The things that i want the most is another builder exclusively for walls, or walls that can be upgraded without a builder, it's kinda frustrating that i can't use a builder just because i am upgrading walls

With the equipment upgrades separate from the actual hero upgrade the cost and time to upgrade heroes need to be greatly reduced.

The 1 thing I want them to change for a better QoL for the phone players is to make the troop bar smaller when attacking or make the troop bar disappear when its empty so I don't have to scroll so much when attacking. for example you have 4 root riders once you've deployed all of them the root rider bar disappears instead of being grayed out. I mainly play on my phone(s23 ultra) and its so frustrating/stressful to do any attack that requires a lot of small troops like gobs,barbs, and archers.I hope Supercell makes a change for the deployment bar. Like this comment if u agree so it gets seen.

An ore mine in the clan capital would be cool I think

The hero equipment has definitely added a lot more to do in the game. Before, once you maxed the troops you use and heroes, there wasn't much else to strive for. Now, getting the ores keeps people doing daily bonuses and warring more. Way more play time from people.

As a change to hero and power potions, what if they changed it back to the original +5, for the players that upgrade their heroes with the TH, but add an option where you can add like 30% of the levels remaining to max, for players that rush their heroes. So a level 90/65 king warden combo still goes to max at TH16, but if your king warden combo is only like 45/25 it'll go to around 60/35, not 55/30, but not maxed either

I understand how they feel about the heros on the home base side but you should get them for wars at the very least you should be able to use them for war leagues

Bash do you think making it so the normal abilities for the heroes being upgraded how they used to be would be a good change and you couldn't level them up with the ore. This would make it still better to level up your heroes to get the abilities leveled.

Maybe they should add the ability to use heroes while they're down to the gold pass. I'm sure most of the people that are serious about the game already buy the gold pass, but this would probably drive more sales. Another idea they could do is add in a gem cost to use your heroes for an hour or just add in a potion that does that.

They need to allow 2 attacks with heroes per day while heroes are upgrading, they could tie it into star bonus.

I played alot of other games similar to CoC. And the thing that makes playing CoC for me is that its not like any other game. So the idea of 5+ Heroes being added and being able to swap them out for battles doesnt seem very exciting for me mainly because ive seen it in many other games. The Blacksmith is the perfect solution for this problem.

If there is any serious change we need is probably massive time reduction’s for hero’s. Waiting 9 days for a less then 1% stat boost is not viable. There could definitely be something like per 10 levels the upgrade time should be half the number in the 10th’s place. 1-10lvl = 12 hours max 11-20lvl = 1 day max… And the horrible 90-100 being 5 days max So on and so forth. Itd impossible considering supercell wants that final 30-40 levels to max are a big stretch. So itd be fair for them to pad it out yeah but it should at least be easier to get to the important point of heroes reaching that 60-75% to max so heroes can be useful but missing those important final bumps. So they could literally just add another an extra 1-3 days or more in those finale ranges. Bringing them back to that dreaded 9-12 day timer… with a basically useless bump in stats… excluding damage.

the answer on the first question is super genuine and doesent scream PR, rather it gives a really honest answer. These devs are cooking and so is Super Cell. other game companies would tip toe around the question instead of actually answer thruthfully.

I think we need more time to max out so I don’t think we need new town hall or a new hero so more time and fix up older features would be good

Having just 12 months between TH upgrades suits me fine as I play every day and don't mind spending money to stock up on Books, Runes etc., but without question I will see loyal clan members drop out of the game. Even with reduced upgrade times, if a new TH comes out every year then the majority of casual players will never get to max and will always feel like they are going backwards not forwards.

I think if they do add a 5th hero they should add it back to TH 15.

They do say roughly a 12 month cycle, not exactly. When I use to play when TH12 was out I would always get the 2 gold passes(2 accounts) from Bing rewards so it was free. 20% was massive and the extra books. Have they increased the price of it, swore it was $5USD.

Adding more heroes will legit fix the problem with heroes upgrading and not being able to use them if they are only going to allow 4 heroes per attack.

Simple fix to the hero upgrades, allow us to pause the upgrades. Maybe we are allotted 1 or 2 pauses per level

I see a lot of negative comments but I’m actually on board with the accelerated schedule. Being max is overrated. The only time I ever took breaks from the game was when I was maxed out waiting on the next update. A faster schedule will keep us busy longer, and for me at least, I’ll be less likely to take breaks from the game

12 months is too short. You cant enjoy it and its really hard for people to catch up to max. I understand 18 months being too long but maybe meet in the middle with 15 months

They need to add a th10 hero asap. This would allow you to always upgrade one hero. A new hero for a new th doesn’t help %99 of people. Let’s say a witch queen or golem king something dark elixir inspired. They could even limit one king type tank hero one ranged hero one support hero and one defense target hero and go crazy adding heroes with flavor.

I think they aren't gonna give us new levels on current heros. But they will only give us new abilities

I still don’t understand why Supercell just doesn’t do the same thing with the heroes that they do with buildings during wars. Make the heroes available just at the level they were when they were put down. So heroes would be down on defense and for normal attacks. It would be the best of both worlds.

Maybe let us use heroes in war and league but not basic random matches while upgrading?

I really feel like these recent ore hero changes have made the game a lot more of a chore. If I don't do my daily star bonus and wars I will fall behind. That puts on extra time pressure and planning which I think is too much for the game. Definitely for casuals an especially if you don't even war.
