I enjoy how Baldermorrt is so in character he always comes across as genuinely entertaining where others might come across as pretentious.

I think this series does more to humanize the inquisition than anything else. The sarcasm and biting playfulness isn't something you find anywhere other than professionals at the top if their game, so it really works.

The ongoing story of Thaddeus and Tarquinus has to be my favorite by far Baldy. From the interactions and comradery of the crew to Thaddeus and Tarquinus's dynamic is absolutely fantastic. Pretty much how I'd imagine the motley crew of a Radical Illuminati Inquisitor to be. I cant wait to see what you think up next for our intrepid heroes. And of course I can't wait to see Barbon go full Barbon again. Great story so far and I hope you're enjoying well deserved KZfaq vacation.

He's remembering himself sitting as a small boy and listening intently as the vox plays a copy of you- recounting this very story. As he recounts the moment, he finds he cannot help but to stand a bit taller and beam with pride. "That story..." By the Emperor.That story... If only Baldermort could see us now!"

The confrontation between barbonne and the late Thaddeus is perhaps one of the most epic ally bombastic arguments I've ever heard recorded. as a fellow storyteller gamer and gamesmaster I salute thee baldermort of internetlandia.

Every time I hear that last conversation my skin crawls and shivers with the amount of emotion that was put into that one scene.

It's almost as impressive as it is adorable that this is your idea of a break - it's like a restaurant saying "The chef's not in tonight so I'm afraid we'll only be offering every meal you've ever enjoyed". I've also been meaning to say, it's both fascinating and a credit to your ability to make us care for characters that, in the "choose your own adventure" aspect of this, we (a community who like this setting specifically for the different experience of unbridled horror, decay and hopelessness that it offers) almost always choose to save them. I'd watch a segmentum burn gladly if it meant Thaddeus got to escape and take some shore leave (though may have to change my mind if it involved a description of Thaddeus taking some 'shore leave').

This is legit a movie length story, and I think it would make a great tv series tbh lol. Keep up the great work Balder your channel is a brief respite in my grim dark world.

Balders I have to say your Sensei stories are some of my favourite. The idea of a blood descendant of the Emperor is too tantalizing and you bring them to life in such a unique way. They seem so.. above us. Not inhuman but also a step above and truly above not a side-step like the honourable Astartes. Her.. disdain for killing the 5 navigators but also understanding the necessity of it and doing so nearly effortlessly truly brings her such unique gravitas You are as always a masterful storyteller

Easily your best characters. So glad you finally did Story So Fars on the characters you made. Really helpful for those who were confused for awhile like me thinking these were characters you got from books and new people just joining the channel. The two characters do a great job like the Inquisitor series of Eisenhorn and Ravenor of being a good starting point of the lore by being more human then Space Marine and Primarch books.

Ah. I saved this video for my train journey from Edinburgh to London. Oh how was wonderful it was too have on.

I do deeply enjoy all your stories; however, the Thaddeus and his entourage are by far my favorites. The humanity in the protege, the constant discovery and as always with the hunt, the answers are often questions themselves.

TY the Thaddeus tales are some of my favorites of all time they are gripping, charming, and funny all at once. I have listened to them all several times already. this just makes it easier. honestly, if it was up to me every other story you tell would be about these two. thanks again and great job overall. you put in a lot of real work and we appreciate it.

Took some time to free my schedule to sit and listen, but I'm glad I did, again. These stories are my very favorite. They were even before the last part, and that one overwhelms me with the awe of the Emperor. A little misty-eyed now.

Hello again Baldermort & Mrs B! I once again wish to express my appreciation of the tales you produce. In this compilation I had already heard the first episode before and was suitably shocked by revelations within. While listening to the second episode, you are summoning images in my mind with clarity and near tangible esthetic. Although I am unfamiliar with the scenes and characters you describe I feel as though I can see them fully envisioned in my mind. Every interaction between characters is narrated in such a way as to lend familiarity of its architype and yet still maintains originality or has distinctive characteristics. I actually feel a sense of anticipation prior to the combat scene! I should mention here I am not watching the video, am doing other things to relax as I enjoy the episode. Bloody hell that laugh is unnerving! I had to look at the video to understand what was going on(I am not well versed in 40K but I do know a good story when I hear one.) Ended very well, even with some levity. Subsequent episode had significant and enjoyable character development. Again compelling combat scene, manly attributed to character development and music that builds tension (Mrs B?!) Descriptive language is again well crafted and engrossing. Really good cliff hanger. On to the next highlight... Dirty pool old man! Utilizing the undeniable adorability of a puppy slide show, and simultaneous sappy love song! Brought a smile to my face:) Loved the last smiley one! "Shore leave" responsibility lecture, was amusing and a PSA simultaneously. Did I detect a Six Million Dollar man nod to the cybernetic reference? Enjoyed the subsequent stories, I'll not bore you with minutia but the humour you infuse into your stories makes the characters all the more endearing and human. Your battle scenes are well done. I do recall watching the episode with the Black Templars and the Emperor's Throne maneuver really heightened(pun) the drama of the battle! I can honestly say I couldn't recall if this story was your own or form the Black Library. there is so much tension, action, and the narration is among your finest. Plus the dramatic knell of the bell, combat audio effects and the music accompanying...sooo good! Such a good episode! The final episode of the compilation was such a dramatic piece, so much gravitas, and yet emotionally compelling. I felt invested in the characters! Such a fantastic compilation, well done! Another lengthy review, but once again I can find no fault in your production, narration or presentation. Baldermort, and Mrs B, this compilation is a prime example of the quality and standard you have established. I can say without hesitation that your work easily surpasses that of other channels in the genre. Admittedly I have yet to listen to an approved 40K audio novel, but you have in your own way set a high bar for THEM(emphasis) to reach if they hope to impress me. This series is my fav. Its really making me root for the inquisitor and his group. I like how Thaddeus is one of few inquisitors who carries a heavy burden due to the pain and suffering they cause but he keeps pushing forward anyways. Even sends a warp entity back to fuse with its master traumatised from puppies and kittens, epic troll. What a legend.

I've really enjoyed this. I'll be honest you've got to think about putting this to print. I think it would do really well. The characters compliment each other brilliantly and yes it's nice to see a slightly different side to the inquisition also.
