For those who are die hard Xmen fans I’m sure this is right up their alley but many in the community were already converting their 4 players to 2 players due to game room space, add to that the expense of this game if it came out and the fact it would be the only 6 player game on it I don’t think it would sell as well as you think. Most of us can’t even get 1 friend over to play our games let alone 5 so it would’ve been too difficult to sell this idea. Online is where it’s at nowadays sadly. Good scoop though MOAT

I mean its dope, and the nostalgia is there, but what bothers me is the size, they could update the design because they were usually this big to house the crt screen. The profiles on these could be reduced drastically and more modernly attractive while retaining the nostalgic feel

You mean they WERE capable of producing cabinets like this... with the absence of ThinkUp (design) and John D. (knowledge of the original), I sincerely doubt they could today. And they won't... because this will never be released. The real question now is WHY? Why are we seeing these now, and what agenda does it serve? Because it's certainly not doing A1U any favors to keep showing everything they COULD have done, but didn't.

If they dont think the 6 player X-men would sell well because being too expensive then they have done like they did with Marvel Superheroes limited edition and Burgertime, make a limited amount of them and sell them exclusively on there website. I hope they read this comment also

The cabinet is beautiful. But it's not my cup of tea, personally. I think that cab would've been a hard sell to make it their worth while. We, the community, have always been the minority and while we may be the louder voices for things like this, sales don't lie and that's why there's 146 different Pac-Mans out there.

LOL, not even close... in terms of parts and shipping, that's probably a $250 product. Add costs of IP, retail and markup and it could still easily be under $1,000.

I'm afraid you will have to spend some dough and mod to get your X-Men 6 player now. You will need an Arcade1up X-Men cab, a 99 lives X-Men 6 player deck, and maybe build a bottom for the deck that goes down to the floor and some extra graphics.
