I havent been in a B747 for a long time! The dinner looks delicious! Never been on Thai Airways before,this makes me want to fly Thai B747 to BKK real soon.

Aviatorspot thanks mate. I flew back this morning on TG475 and I still enjoy flying on Thai compared to other airlines.

great video. i often travel from france to the philippines but i never tried thai airways yet. wish i could take their 744 and 388 someday! next month i will fly with eva air: 77W from CDG to TPE then 744 from TPE to MNL. i managed to reserve a seat in their upper deck economy. it will be a first experience for me.

havnt flew thai in a while...Ek has been pretty amazing but let down on food services so me next trip to Thailand I will defo fly me national carrier :-) Love the vid

Kulchart Na Nongkhai Thanks. I'm glad you liked the vid. Thai might not have a huge IFE like EK's ICE system but I like the friendly crews, great food and comfortable seats.

Sydney is sometimes rainy and very windy but not all the time i think weather patterns may affect plane landings but I hope you had a good time.

Hard to decide where to go to next. Every time I plan a 787 trip they remove the 787 from that route :)

I tried that last time but they grounded the 787's. Then I thought maybe the SYD - NRT route would be good but just as they were about to launch that the icing issue meant they cancelled the 787 again! I'm jinxed.

Cool video. I'm travelling from Sydney on Thai Airways later this year on their older 747, and sadly I heard some of them still have the dated interior where there are no personal entertainment systems like in this video (but instead a large overhead TV for everyone). Some sources say they're still in the process of updating all of their planes with the new interior and personal screens, but others say it's already been done. Apparently there's still a very small number of them which haven't been upgraded so I don't want to be stuck on a 10 hour flight with no personal entertainment system. Would you know anything about this?

That's economy. Business Class have the angled lie flat seats on this route.

LOL.... im going to get that EK418 filght from bangkok quite soon.... me and my family tend to get thai airways when we go to bangkok, but this time around, were going to try something different.... haha

EK seem to pack the seats in but the food and entertainment is good.

S787iFly Yep, its was good overall, but however breeky was a bit small (consist of a muffin, croissants and some fruits) but however that a bit understandable because they go to chirstchurch after and that wouldn't be fair to people who are going to chirstchurch from bangkok (or dubai) to have 2 big breeky.... and i wasn't hungry myself.... so that fair
