This was great! I love watching you in the kitchen with your boys. It’s the perfect way to teach them how to cook, chop and put dishes together and you also showed the timing needed to get the garlic and other veggies cooked the way They should be.

Hi lucinda, I'm Thai and I will give you some suggestion about Thai fried rice. Normally we don't put ginger on it. Just garlic and stir fried with pork and add some egg in to the wok and beat a few time until half cook. Then add vegetable and rice. Seasoning and put spring onion the last. And you are really correct for chili fish sauce and cucumber. It's real Thai :) But if you like ginger you can put it. It's your style and I Love it!!! Will try to add some ginger sometime :)

To finish it of ,as they do in thailand ,top it with a fried egg . I know it doesnt sound good but its greatwith the yolk mixing with the rice. But you did get it right even down to the cucumber.

I would really like a spatula like the one Lucinda is using.. Anyone know where I can get one?

Beat fried rice for me is heating oil on high and adding cumin seed letting it turning black, and garlic and salt n rice....nth else we need. We can even kinda burn garlic a little to make kinda smoky
