The Long-Term Residence Visa has five categories, and one of them, the Work Remotely from Thailand can be used by digital nomads.
* You need to work on a corporation that has public stock.
* It lasts for 10 years and gives you access to deals, co-working spaces, and more.
* You can bring your spouse (with marriage certificate) and your children (with birth certificate).
The Smart-S Visa is for entrepreneurs that want to work on an innovative technology FOR Thailand.
* You can bring 2-3 people with you for this visa, so they are part of your team.
* You get a stamp for 2 years which can be extended indefinitely as long as you keep working on your idea.
* You also get multiple entry permission.
* You can apply for the Smart-S Visa outside of Thailand, and pick it up at an embassy abroad. It is one of the few visas that process is 100% online.
You can also move abroad to Thailand by taking a Thai or Chinese course and obtaining a Student Visa.
* It can take 45 days to obtain the visa, so you need to consider this time BEFORE you arrive in the country.
Another very popular option is teaching English in Thailand. You can relocate as an English teacher as Thailand is always looking for them :)
