At 9:44, it looks like green curry (or probably a fusion version of it). Panang is definitely a red curry (as Jacob noted) and it rarely contains vegetables other than pea eggplants. Thank you for visiting Thailand.

When you get coffee tea or any drinks with ice, you should try to melt the ice. They make sweet because they put a lot of ice ( the weather is warm in Thailand and Thais take time to finish their drinks). And normally every Thai food should eat with rice (too strong favours too eat without rice).

The way Thais eat is to put Tom Yam etc onto rice and scoop rice with Tom Yam using fork to gather them into spoon and eat from spoon. Westerners usually know only red, thick broth Tom Yam which is creamy and spicy. However, there is less well-known clear broth Tom Yam (Tom Yam Nam Sai) which does not have coconut milk and red chilli, otherwise other ingredients are the same. To make it spicy, you put 1-2 bird eye chilli and it will be spicy enough.

When you've been in Thailand long enough, the hot weather, tiring work, plus sweating from the heat. It will make Thai tea iced, not too sweet, instead making it very refreshing. Have a fun and safe trip to Thailand and enjoy delicious food.

You should go to Central World and try the upscale Cantonese, Taiwanese and Japanese restaurants there. They have some of the best chains like Din Tai Fung, Kam's Roast, Tsuta Japanese Soba Noodles etc - all of these had a Michelin star at some point.

Basically,Thais eat rice with almost every meals they take. Rice with curry, soup, grilled food, stir fried and many more. So most of our food have strong taste and smell. The way we eat it is to put curry on rice, not put rice in the soup. Hope you enjoy Thai food.

At the cafe and beverage stall in Thailand, you can order for less sweet or not too sweet drink or you can say "Wan Noi" in Thai.

Panang curry has the red curry paste as a base mixed with some spices and peanut that makes it a panang curry paste and they use coconut milk and palm sugar for sweetness that turn the curry into yellow. I like it very much and I made it from scratch one time. It was phenomenal. 👌🏻👍🏻😀💯

If you like spicy food, I recommend Yellow Curry and Kua Kling. And another restaurant that I recommend is Phedmark restaurant. They sell fried basil that you can choose the spicy level. Oh, I also recommend the Larb Moo.

10:30 that is "Green curry" it's not Panang curry. And a good Thai tea you can find it on the street which the price is 25-30 bht. Have a good trip👍😁

The way to enjoy Thai soup and curry, you should pour some soup or curry on white rice and eat with a spoon bite by bite, that way it wouldn’t get too spicy.

Panang curry got to go along with steamed rice, it's customly that all Thai curry exposed better with steamed rice especially jasmine rice,Wow!!!

@@JacobandJennyTravel streamed rice would be ordered separately which normally waiter must ask if clients want it as in small serve individually or in a aluminium jar for sharing with companion or for reserving. Rice can be good combination with all curries in order to reduce the puncheon of those chillies and herbs ingredients. There are two kinds of rice Central Thailand dishes ; white rice and brown rice (healthier and stickier). Next time please try Northern and Northeastern dishes with streamed sticky rice which you can enjoy taking by hand (right hand only). For those super strong spicy taste lovers , please do take more vegetables to calm down spiciness. To end up the meal with sweet fruits like papaya, pineapple, watermelon or/and Thai dessert is a good choice... especially mango sticky rice.

Hi Sawasdee krab.. Jacob and Jenny...Welcome, most Thai food It has a strong taste with spicy, salty, sweet, sour flavors and rich in herbs such as ginger, galangal, lemongrass and chili. When we eaten with hot steamed rice It will be more tasty and delicious, have a nice Trip ka ^_^

Hello, Thai food taste much better authentic only in Thailand. 🇹🇭 Every dish serve standard taste and on tables you have chili,and the thai vinegar sauce bottle, fishsauce, sugar etc.. you could add to your food and make the taste you like…for example more spicy add more chili 🌶️👍miss thai food so much 🇹🇭🙏🏻☀️by the way 10:06 in video is looking much like green curry and not panang curry.. panang is always red color..im Thai ka 🙏🏻

that sticky rice mango is quite a spoil though XD as in, Imagine, you're already full with rice and tom yum, and then bam, another rice, with sweet mango and coconut milk, it just fill that gap that you wouldn't know it was before XD

Thailand has many kinds of food. Both the traditional and the food that we have inherited from other cultures. I, being a Thai person, still can't eat all kinds of food and snacks, it's a lot.

10:13 That was not a Penang curry, yes the Penang curry typically is red (they use red chili spur pepper paste as its based). But you just ordered a Thai green curry chicken which is a green chili spur pepper paste based). It is different so far. the Penang curry's spicy level is on top tiers curry lists, you would be sweating. The Thai green curry chicken is less spicy.

Panang looks unfamiliar to me. Must be normal curry. You have to eat curry it with rice. 🤔☺️

They don't put ginger in tomyum, it is Galangal, lemon grass, Kaffir lime leaves, test of the Soup is spicy from chili, Sour from lemon, Salty from fish sauce, Fragrance from celery
