Hi Ully, I would recommend you to come here to Champhon. You can fly from Bangkok too. Many places are still undiscovered, both on land and underwater. Slow life location with over 200 kms of beaches! Enjoy your trip :)

Yes, Marc, Chumphon is so green. You can easily fly there from Bangkok. There are many diving sites too. Worth exploring :)

Chumphon is a nice little city. I lived there for a year and am about to be going back. If I can make a recommendation, you should do a Google map with pins on the locations you visit.

Chumpon is such a nice location for a roadtrip. it would be great if you could link the locations (googlemaps perhaps) of the eateries in the description box

HEY ! I like your blog. How to get to Chumpon from Bangkok? Is there a close hotel nearby a beach to stay?

Thank you for watching. You can fly to Champhom from Bangkok (less than 1 hour) or you can take a train from Bangkok Central Train Station. The hotel I would recommend is www.chumphoncabanaresort.com because it is spacious and located beachfront on Phung Hua Laen Beach. Enjoy your trip!

Chumphon is not for Backpackers , chumphon is for the quality tourist , not the googl cheap charlie´s . That why it is a gem , no tourism same pha nagn or samui or phuket is availiable here and no dope, no dicotheque, nothing after 21:00. It will be so because the natives here not want their land goes down same other places with the cheap chalie´s mentanlity , Fun for money ......we have enough fun without your money .

Hi Der, thanks for sharing your thought. Chumphon is serene. The beach and underwater world is amazing - many people do not know this. I am from Ranong, which is adjacent to Chumphon, so we share some similarities. I love Southern Thai Food so much too. Spiciness is what I love. :)
