Since all the newer Hondas etc cost so much to import. Does it cost less to bring in something older? Streets are pretty narrow in most of Thailand too , wheeling a Caddy or big American iron around would be a challenge for sure ! Fun video,thanks

They banned importing foreign cars a few years ago... period! If it wasn't in the country before, it ain't coming in (with VERY few exceptions). That said, I was amazed at how many older cars I saw in various states of repair when I just rambled around the countryside. They are there and they will find willing hands to work on them. I'll be searching my own out in a few years when I retire there! Cheers!

@@kens6652 well that's discouraging. I'd planned to bring my 1970 Datsun 521 pick up over when I go back to retire in Chiang Mai in 2025. Looks like I'll have car hunting to do now too. It's gotta be old, cool and small though. I bet there are some cars hiding in old barns somewhere worth putting a dollar into, at least the labor costs will be low ! If we find a place with good old rides, I vote to keep it a secret. See ya in Thailand in a couple years !

Many of the channels i follow have been permanently demonetized for telling the truth yet they still make content. You “may” get demonetized on this one video so you dump the hole thing and no one gets to see the car show. Dam it’s all about the money and nothing about the followers who get you the money! $ came too fast and too easy for many KZfaqrs and they show it in how they treat their fan base.

The gold car wasn't an Osmobile but a Buick. The next car you called a Camaro was a Firebird. The gold 4 door was a Pontiac.
