Baggage reclaim can be an issue at BKK, and back in the UK, particularly if you're doing a one stop flight. Next time going to do carry on only. Take fewer clothes. There's the Mike store on Beach Road and there's an excellent market on Soi Buakhao.

🙂 I have stayed at the Seaview, it is on Second Road if I remember though you can go out the back way onto Beach Road.

First it was India overwhelming the Thai population, then Muslims pouring in. Now it is Russian and Chinese fleeing their politics. The problem is very few bring enough cash to survive long, any nest egg is spent on a condo which later will be sold at a huge loss. Thai hospitality only exists if you can pay your own way and most do not survive long without outside income coming in.

kinda crazy flights wise , everyone is complaining about ticket prices being high so no-one is flying as a result the flights half empty , why dont they reduce the prices encourage more to fly and get the planes filled , make back the money in other areas ) , must be better for the planet if a plane is full rather than half empty

Well, yes. As I'm from the UK there never has been any. I also got a 45 day stamp which is what they are currently giving, as opposed to the usual 30. Also there is currently no white and blue form to fill in either which is good news.

Yep, A380 on both legs. I booked the flights through the Emirates app. £735 return.

Enjoy yourself Besty .just a note .when you stay at the different hotels just a few seconds on the smoking status in them would be appreciated.hard work being a smoker traveling nowadays .

Hey Keith. General rule is smoking is ok on the balcony, even if there's no ashtray just use a bottle. If there's no balcony then it's a trek down to reception or the pool deck.

I'm not sure why you don't simply take the city bus at Suvarnabhumi at gate 8 for 140 bahts to get directly to Pattaya ?
