Thailand Update - JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa - Christmas Break

For our Christmas Break we are traveling to Khao Lak this year. We will be staying 3 days at the J.W. Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa and will have our Christmas dinner there on the 25th.
We arrived around sunset and just wanted to have a look at the beach. I hope you enjoy this update.

I went to Medan Indonesia 2 times. I stay at JW Marriott too. The hotel very nice and breakfast buffet food delicious. I enjoyed to stay at there. Wish you Merry Christmas. 🎄🎅🎉

While the JW Marriott Kao Lak looks very nice, I prefer a smaller more intimate resort. I don't want to have to walk for 20 minutes from one end of the resort to the other. I will be at the JW in Mai Kao, Phuket, next month, which looks more to my style.

I think this hotel was formerly known as Khao Lak Sofitel Magic Lagoon & Spa before the tsunami hit

Will you not be floating around the lazy River in your inflatable pink flamingo?? It really is a stunning looking resort, the rooms have all been renovated recently and I think the nearby building works have finished too

I really do not get this hotel. Does anyone use the pool? It’s big, yes. But it doesn’t seems very practicle or a place where you would tan. The beach also looks a bit cramped. Many people in a little place. I’m I misunderstanding it. From your video I get the feeling that it’s not a place where one can relax…
