Cried so much watching this. It breaks my heart! So glad to see all that can make known that elephant trekking is terrible. I refused to do any sort of activity in Thailand that made animals do things that are unatural. Thank you Takyo and Jade for using your platform to inform everyone about this horrible tourist attraction :( Thank you for going to an Ethical Sanctuary!

Awww, im sorry that this vlog made you cried. I am really touch by how much some vlog can pull emotion. But yes, the elephant business is a dark secret in Thailand. If you watch the link i put in the description box, many of the volunteers going to the sanctuary to save the elephant (not as regular tourist like us) was really emotive about their revealing experience. If we see you one day let us buy you a drink for this one 😊! You are part of the solution now because you share your comment on this community. This vlog will get more attention on the platform. Thanks for sharing your experience there. My family went there in January and it was great to see the elephants and staff again. One thing i'd like to add is that the staff are very friendly and eager to share how they ended up working there. Take care.

Hi Hugh, we so glad we inspired you to visit this sanctuary. They really do good for the elephant. Further more, the staff are very friendly and will do their best to give you as much information as you may need about their work and the elephant. If you don't have time to visit China Mai, this elephant sanctuary is a really good option!

This is a real eye-opener. Very sad and unfortunate that those Elephants had to suffer through :(. But, I'm thrilled that place is doing everything they can to give a better life for those Elephants.

Great vlog you guys !! It's on my bucket list of things to do on my next visit to Thailand. The abuse of elephants I saw all over Thailand is so bad :(Takyo, trouves-tu que les Redbull en bouteille sont moins que ceux en Amerique du Nord... par contre pour 0.42 $ Cad cela est un excellent deal :) Cannot wait for the next video !!

Yeah we understand that, it was a big decision for us to decide either we should put that on our vlog or not, but we chose to because so many travellers are unaware of the elephant dark secret. During one trip to a waterfalll in Koh Samui, we saw 3 elephants chain for whole day to one spot for tourist to take picture with and buying expensive banana to feed them. The elephant couldn't do anything then standing there, not even walk 2 steps. That's why we decide to put out the harsh truth. But we do understand what you mean. Thanks for your feedback!
