Thaísa Daher de Menezes, also known as Thaísa Menezes or Thaísa Daher, is a professional volleyball player from Brazil. She won back-to-back gold medals at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012. She has won numerous Best Spiker and Best Blocker Awards and is often singled out as one of the greatest Brazilian players of all time.
The Brazil women's national volleyball team is administrated by the Confederação Brasileira de Voleibol (CBV) and takes part in international volleyball competitions. It is ranked second in the FIVB World Rankings as of August 2021.[1][2] They are the current record holder of FIVB World Grand Prix champion titles, having won it for the eleventh time in 2016 and are the gold medalists of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing and 2012 Summer Olympics in London. The team also get a gold in Pan American Games in 2011.

I'm sorry but the game of her career is the quarter final match of London 2012 Olympics against Russia. She made almost 25 points being a MB against the Russian legends Gamova and Sokolova. This match against Serbia only proves that she's an unique MB the truly definition of a person with spirit of twice Olympic champion

Thaísa é um ícone, bicampeã olímpica! Tem atuações memoráveis na carreira. Claro q esse não foi o jogo da carreira dela pq ela tem jogos e atuações ainda maiores! Mas foi mais uma amostra de que em forma ela é a melhor e mais decisiva central do mundo!

Brionne Butler had eight kill blocks in her debut game/year for USA, Agnieska Korneluk is blocking everbody, Indy Baijens is also showing so much potential for Netherlands, and now, Thaisa made a memorable comeback and registered nine kill blocks in a single match in her comeback year for Brazil. This is looking like a year for middle blockers! What a way to start the year.

Vc citou o provável time titular das finais da VNL, do pré olímpico, ou até mesmo da olimpíada do próximo ano. Pra completar as 12 convocadas eu acrescentaria Diana (terceira central) Júlia Bergmam e Maiara Basso (terceira e quarta ponteira) Roberta e Rosamaria na inversão.
