This is how I'd rate Thakgi, I hope he sees this: Fire and passion - 100% Energy - 100% Mindset - 80% Humbleness - 30% I don't think it's a patience issue, it's a matter of being humble. if this guy can learn to be humble and aggressively patient(patient but working tirelessly) he'll approach all these opportunities from a much better standpoint.. and also cut this "hungry" language I personally think it comes out with an attitude.. every black man is hungry but we can't quote that to everyone.. As young as we are, it's all about adopting the DJ sbu Energy, Mindset, Fire and more than anything be humble, or else situations will do that work of humbling you.. I also wish he listened to DJ sbu when he said not everything is about Zaga, but he missed the real wisdom, without Sbu just closing it off to suit his satisfaction. but otherwise shout to Thakgi for working to this level👏👏

Most people will comment knowing very well they are 9 - 5's they have no clue the dark side of entrepreneurship.
@informalsettlementmusicgro61833 ай бұрын
The dark side of Entrepreneurship is not having mentors, not taking advice, thinking that you are the first person in the world to be frustrated by challenges. Money may get you in the room but social currency is what keeps you in the room. You can have an ego when you are as successful as Bill Gates, when you are still hustling its best to be humble, keep a cool head, even if you know something, you should still allow someone to teach you. Business and branding is about building connections and trust. The money is the end result of the trust and connections that you have built with your customers, suppliers, investors and all other stakeholders in your business.
@lebohangputini88693 ай бұрын
@@informalsettlementmusicgro6183 Partially true, but who said he's not humble, because everything you've said here is leaning on the supposed fact that the kid is not humble, just because he's reacting in a manner that he's engaging in doesn't mean he is not reflecting and taking what Sbusiso is telling him. Don't be quick to judge then overlay your negative criticism like you responding in "Good Faith". I can see right through that façade, even taking so much effort and time to explain you notions and methods suggests that how he conducts himself is not some how "palatable to your liking" so he needs to have his ego in check. Stop judging and be present, stop projecting.
@informalsettlementmusicgro61833 ай бұрын
What I said about business and entrepreneurship is Not partially true but absolutely true. Your problem is that everything is a debate instead of exchange of information just like this kid. Everything said to him he has to challenge he doesn't even have to think about it, that is a defensive mindset. Sbu was not wrong telling him to be patient because that's true, patience and consistancy is what gets you ahead in business, I know this because I am in business. My lecture told me this back when I was studying, he prepared us to. He warned us that as aspiring entrepreneurs we would bankrupt more than 3 times but to be patient and keep going and ngathi we didn't tell him that he doesn't understand because we have families to feed. Same advice given to this kid and he makes like no one understands him. That frustration is going to block opportunities for him as brilliant as he is. He has great passion and fire for the industry, I don't take that away from him and I don't say that he won't be successful, he will just have a difficult time with some influential people that can get him places because we all have egos, and your ego as a struggling entrepreneur can't overshadow your vision, there are people with bigger egos who won't be understanding and patient like Sbu. Instead of people calling and saying 'help intwana yaka', they will call each other and say 'He's difficult to work with that one'. I'm not even going to entertain your comment about my facade because you've only had one comment from me to think that you know about my facade and intentions, typical comment of a know it all. By the way what I offered was constructive criticism not negative criticism and you definitely need a mentor if you think a different point of view from yours is negative criticism.

At 52:50 Sbu drops a bombshell…. That’s motivation and plus, I will forever cherish that information. You grounded this boy, young Bros must understand hustling is a process, there is no contract to hustling, so you can’t go back and say but you said this, nop. There are ups and downs you just have to be patient and while you are patient other opportunities pass you by. Thank you Sbu. Much respect 🙏🙏🫶🫶

I understand this guy, he's just being himself and honest about everything. He's objective. I understand, at this point in time he's just young and naive and I guess growth stems from that. You can't rebuke him, for being himself.

he didn't say people owe him something. He was emphasizing the fact that in almost everything you do you need some guidance and assistance. That's how you grow as a brand.

Dj sbu offered this guy free access to the studios 3 TIMES and he couldn’t even say a simple thank you just to appreciation the thought of the grootman trying to extend a helping hand to a young man. All he could do is go on about how “Ok”he is yet speaks with soo much frustration about the industry 🤦🏾♀️😂 A simple thank you wouldn’t hurt. It doesn’t matter how useless he feels the offer is to him.🤮

I detect impatience in the young boy, who is also allowing external noise to affect his thoughts. Sit down, block out distractions, concentrate on your skills, think before speaking, and practice patience. Your potential is vast, but your current demeanor may deter many brands from wanting to be associated with you. Stay calm, your moment will arrive, but first, learn to listen and understand that life has various stages. Use this time to enhance your skills, and everything will fall into place.
