I have seen the movie twice and he’s hella annoying so I don’t think anyone is going to relate to him unless they are as noisy and obnoxious as he is. Who gets in between two people dancing. He’s a 3rd wheel that’s not needed.

So the contex of the annoying guy is him and Vijay were cousins in the movie both are interested in the girl but girl lie that she had a husband and he is huge star in India his name is samanderson and she show the picture of his so called husband to Vijay not to the annoying guy so Vijay some how find out the girl lied and both start to fall in love but the annoying guy thought tha his cousin is having an love interest to a married women and try to stop Vijay

according to what I remember from the movie the guy who interrupts them also gets to know that she lied about being married but he likes the girl that's why he doesn't want the two of them to be together
