I've ridden on one of those Boeings (possibly both) between HK and Macau. They're a lot of fun.

When I worked at McCann Erickson in the early 1980's the wife of one on my colleagues was employed at the advertising agency of Ogilvy & Mather who planned to move from Brettenham Place at the north end of Waterloo Bridge to new premises at the developing Canary Wharf. There was a lot of employee dissatisfaction at this move, as access to Canary Wharf, as you point out in this video, was not very good in the early days, and I believe a boat service was laid on for them from Westminster Pier, or they were given sponsored access to one of the services you mention. It certainly upset the commuting arrangements of this couple, who'd been travelling together to London for years!

Great summary of Thames ferry services over the years. Only comment I would offer is that the little catamarans built in the UK by Aluminium Shipbuilders Ltd pre-dated the merger of the design companies Crowther and Incat to become "Incat Crowther" as you mentioned in your video. Jane's High-Speed Marine Transportation from mid to late 1990's describes these craft as follows: "In 1986 ASL was awarded a contract for a 16m Catamaran Riverbus from Thames Line plc. Subsequently, and after successful proving trials with the first craft, named Daily Telegraph, a further seven slightly larger 17.5m craft were built in the succeeding two years, all for Thames Line". The names of the seven, according to Jane's, were: Barclays Bank, London Docklands, Chelsea Harbour, Debenham Tewson and Chinnocks, Habour Exchange, Daily Telegraph (the original 16m apparently renamed Le Premier), London Broadcasting Company.
