Күн бұрынTurn orange screw to clamp yellow tube (workpiece) via blue spring steel collet (flange type expansion collet).
The gap between the collet and the tube hole is intentionally increased for easy understanding.

A tube moves on a rod? What is the tube motion?: rotation? linear translation? helical motion? Need the mechanism that causes the motion?

THANK you, for rapid response! The slip-fit tube, moves Linearly. What drives it?...that's what I am hoping to find! ...[some SPIRAL, i must use TORQUE, from the inside tube to use, as driver..]

Use a screw placed inside the rod (a tube of two symmetric longitudinal slots). A nut (of two parts sliding in the slots) is fixed to the outer tube. Turn the screw to make the outer tube move linearly.

Thanks...You are dealing with the 2nd step. I an still configuring the step beginning , [in your response], TURN THE SCREW.... In my config; TURNING comes from available Torque... Do you have an available eM? Having it, I could send CAD images. gripWIN@gmail.com
