You spoke my thoughts, Claire. 2017 was the toughest year of my life after suffering through a terrible breakup. But also the year where I had rediscover and find myself once more. I'll always remember how you once said that being single does not mean that you're 'without' I'm still struggling but me today is definitely better than me in 2017. I feel inspired by you. This hit home so hard for me that I had the chills the entire time we were talking my eyes were watering and my heart felt so many emotions through this video and for the past two weeks I felt so lost because I kept looking at how bad 2017 really was for me and not looking at have the bad things taught me so many beautiful things about myself and about others so Claire even if this touch one person like me that's a big deal and I'm like tearing up as I'm saying this I really need to see this video cuz I feel feel so inspired right now and when I feel lost again I can revert back to this video and know that I wasn't alone this is why I follow you cuz I feel you on a different level, love you girl !!!!

Watching this opened up the floodgate of pain from 2017. You're right 2017 was not an easy year and it is so much easier thinking of the bad rather than the good. But watching this video made me realise I shouldn't sweep 2017 under the rug. Yes it was bad and ugly, but we learn from that to better ourselves. I'll admit I had a good cry watching you keep it together towards the end but they were the leftover frustration from last year. I feel so much lighter knowing I wasn't alone. Thank you Claire

What you said @1:39 about “inability to sustain happiness when the foundation of who you are is unstable” got me to my core. You put into words something I’ve been struggling to realize in the last 3 weeks and you put it so eloquently. I literally burst into tears immediately. I relate to this so much. Most of 2017 was an emotional rollercoaster, it was the most anxious i ever felt, and it was also one of the most stressful years of my life. thank you claire for shedding light on the importance of taking a moment to appreciate all the hardships and the good moments 2017 has brought. I dont want to look back at last year with negative thoughts. I actually am thankful for the obstacles i was able to overcome. although 2018 and beyond may bring even harder obstacles, im thankful that 2017 has prepared me a bit of the shit im going to experience later down the road 😅 i gotta take it a step at a time, appreciate the bumps and the successes!

This really hit home for me...2017 was a rough year. You have always been someone that I look to for inspiration on the days that I feel lost in who I am. Because, in the past, when I felt like I didn’t know who I was, your channel was always there bringing me comfort in the fact it’s okay to not know who you are, but you certainly have helped me discover parts of me that I didn’t know existed, and for that I want to say thank you Claire. It was a damn hard year, and I still don't feel like I'm through with everything that happened and is still happening - but this gave me a little more hope. Claire, I feel like that video was made as a message just to me. I too had one of the hardest years in my life in 2017. It has changed me in more ways that I could ever explain. I know I still have more hard times ahead of me but I too have found that’s the only way I am going to get through it all is one day at a time. I tell myself this on a daily basis. It has become a sort of mantra. Just know you’re not alone in this feeling and we will get through this and on to better things. I love you very, you’re my favorite KZfaqr because of videos like this.

I feel 2017 was really a rough one. Even though I do feel sorry for you that you had to go through a tough year..but just know you’re not alone Claire. I thank you for being open and truthful. That was beautiful. I needed to see this, I lost my job 2 days into 2018 and I honestly was shocked and confused. Watching this made me feel like I can and will make 2018 great, I get to take time to make sure I find a career I want. I get to focus a bit more on my blog and finally start my KZfaq channel. Claire this video brought me to tears and I know your 2018 will be amazing.

You're the only youtuber that I watch in full screen. Thanks for being so true and honest. I feel like I went through something very similar to you. I became able to do lot more stuff in 2017, but I found myself getting lost in life more than ever. Feel like I've been walking in this fog for a very long time and it doesn't seem to be clear anytime soon. I can smell the sun, but I don't know how long more this uncertainty shakes me. But let's stay hopeful and let's just take it one day at a time. Happy new year:)
