This is an end of the only Blackhawks team I have ever known and I shed a few tears when I watched this video because it brought back memories of this great dynasty. Love you Kaner and thanks for being with us❤

Same this is the only hawks team I knew and feel In love with back in the 08-09 season the Chicago wolves were the team that really got me into the game in the early 2000’s then yes I kinda was a bandwagon hawks fan come 2009 considering how dead nhl hockey was in Chicago In the early 2000’s. Idk starting to lose interest in the game considering the new path the team has chosen have not watched many games over the past few years due to the amount of unsuccess hopefully a new era will come soon and restore my faith but it doesn’t look like it

I’m a Bruins fan, but I can’t help but feel bad for Blackhawks fans. Losing a player who has basically been with their team for most of their career, then leaves after a long time really sucks.

Thanks for the kind words. There are a lot of Chicago fans, like me, who are literally devastated by this. I just can’t grasp the enormity of the loss. We only wish him the best and we’ll see him again when his #88 gets raised to the rafters.

Watched as Kaner scored his 1000th point on my birthday (Jan. 19th 2020). He's been with the Blackhawks since I started watching them in the early 2010s. I'm so sad to see him go, but thrilled he'll be able to play with Panarin again. Thank you for the championships, Kane, and thank you for the show.

I'm a Blackhawk fan for almost 60 years, and this is as sad a day as i can remember, even though we all knew it was coming. Thanks Kaner, IMO the greatest Blackhawk ever. I sure hope Davidson knows what he's doing, I'm not so sure though. I wonder what Jonny Toews is thinking today?

i played on the chicago jets when i was little, and i remember the hawks would practice at johnnys ice house. the inspiration the hawks gives these kids in chicago is more than they know. thank you kaner.

Thank you for sixteen seasons wearing one of the most storied and iconic jerseys in the National Hockey League. Thank you for bringing home lord Stanley for the first time since 1961 in 2010 and giving Chicago 2 more in 2013 and 15. The city of Chicago will always be grateful for the show you put on every time you stepped on the ice, and the person you were off the ice. I grew up with this man as a hawks so it will be hard to get used to it. Kane was the only reason I wanted to play hockey and he will always be my favorite hockey player. Thanks for giving me a hockey filled childhood with Chicago and I hope you the best (Now go win that cup!!!!)

I started watching hockey in the 60's. I have been blessed with so many great games through the years. I spent many Friday evenings with my sons watching hockey. Couldn't be more sad that this happened but I feel grateful for your opportunity to grow yourself. You will forever be engraved in Blackhawks history and in our memories! It sucks that the team has become a joke and worst team in the league. Your leaving signals the end of an era! I will never forget it. THANK YOU!

So sad to see him leave. He was the reason I became a blackhawks fan in 2013 when I was 8. I went to my first game in 2015 for my bday on Feb 24th.against the panthers. He got injured in the first period due to a check that broke his collarbone the game went to other and a shootout and hawks won 4-3 most memorable first NHL game and blackhawks game I've ever been to out of the 3 I've gone to. He will be missed gratly.🥺

I remember watching every playoff game with my grandpa before he passed. It may be weird but the trade has made me so sad for nostalgic reasons. I was a kid and those were some of my best memories as a kid and they involved showtime. Damn. RIP childhood.
