▷ About Paul:
Paul Rodriguez, also known as “P-Rod” was recognized as a prodigy at the young age of 14, only two years after he started skating. His consistency, effortless style and persistence on his board led Paul to travel far from his home town of Northridge, CA to the City Streets around the world as a part of the legendary City Stars team. His passion for skating and filming with his friends led to his breakout part in Logic 6 in 2000, Street Cinema in 2001 and landed him Rookie of the Year in 2002 for his part in Tranworld’s video production “In Bloom.” He turned pro later that year.
Paul bought his first skateboard at the age of 12. When he’s not skateboarding, Paul enjoys studying the lives of influential individuals, including his favorites such as Alexander the Great and Bruce Lee.
Paul currently lives in Los Angeles.

This was a dope video grew up looking up to P-Rod as skater when I was young & now I actually cut hair none of these things I did professionally but I'm pretty good at both & I could relate so much on the conversation they had about going through phases of trying new things it was a pretty similar situation with me.anything I wanted to try I learned and became pretty good at it I'm now in my mid 30s but I was thinking about picking up a board again this summer.My upmost respect to both of these guys it was great watching these two cats in one video.looking forward to another 🙏💪

i relate to Paul a lot. When I was little I played Football for about five years and wanted to get in the big leagues when I was big, but then I stopped because I had to go play it for like five days a week and it got repetitive. Then I started taekwondo (just like Paul karate) and wanted to impress my friends in school. Then I got a walmart board from my big sister and had it for like a week until I realized it sucked and my Brother bought me a deck and I got my brothers old fury trucks and skated with the off brand wheels and bearinngs. the deck was some mexican brand, but it had really good pop. I got spitfire wheels and bones bearings for christmas later.

There would be these older kids at the Roosevelt mall skating parking blocks and they’d get their setups at Allied Hobbies @ Rosevelt mall and I was scared of it, but I knew it was SO FUCKING COOL !

Vic literally asked all the right questions! I want to ask why dont you grow your hair long anymore, does that have to you getting up there in age? I seen you interview on hat club i remember you saying you feel like you getting to old to wear your hat to the back. You said it jokingly but when Vic asked you if you are afraid of getting old I felt that was a great question.
