Thanksgiving Bake with Me! All The Pies... It's a Hot Mess.

Hey party people! Thanks so much for hanging out with me while I share with you this thanksgiving bake with me / cook with me video! While there was no pressure on me to bring anything to Thanksgiving holiday get-togethers, I can never go anywhere empty handed... so of course I had to make a few things to bring for everyone to enjoy, and enjoy they did!! I have to say everything I made this day was a hit! Delicious and simple dessert ideas to keep in my recipe book for years to come! First I made homemade pie crust, then some pecan pie, corn casserole, toll house chocolate chip pie, and finally some oreo bars! YUM!! Smash hit, you are welcome! All while caring for my two week old... and lets be real... would I do it again? nah. I'd use the storebought pie crust. but it sure was fun!! haha thanks for cooking / baking with me! Hope you guys enjoyed your thanksgiving holiday!

I'm from south africa and we don't celebrate Thanksgiving. But the cooking and baking is all traditional for Eid, our islamic eligious holiday. We end up in the kitchen for two days without sleep just trying to get everything done.

“Just like your grandma used to make”...My grandma always said the store bought pie crusts are just as good and they don’t take any time!😆 And I have made homemade pie crusts but they never turned out right. I feel like pie crusts are like biscuits; you either know how to make them and you do it well, or you don’t know how and they have the texture of a rock. 😄

I created a tradition for myself many, many years ago, when I was a teenager, long before I got married. Every Thanksgiving morning, and Christmas morning as well, I make Pillsbury Pop-n-Fresh Orange Danish & Cinnamon Danish for breakfast. I only rarely make them, but love to indulge in them for Thanksgiving morning AND Christmas morning as well(!), but I LOOOOOOVE BOTH flavors!! (Can’t decide which one is my favorite, so I always get one can of each!!) 😍😍😋😋🤤🤤 It’s a quick, & easy breakfast to make, makes the house smell wonderful, and only takes 12 to 15 minutes in the oven, or I could bake them in my toaster oven. So it really doesn’t take much time away from the turkey. But it keeps your tummy full until the main meal is ready later in the day! Make it a tradition of yours in the future... (you WILL thank me!!) 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️😋😋😋😋🍽 You’re welcome. 👍❤️😉😏

I agree, you wait until dinner on Thanksgiving, but I married into a family that eats all day. There are cinnamon rolls and breakfast casserole. Then later their are fruit and veggie trays. Its food all day!

You made me laugh when you talked about the sour cream and cream cheese. Tears ago my friend was going to give a party for her husband's birthday. She had shopped and gotten ALL the ingredients she would need for the menu. Only problem she bought one cream cheese and needed more for another item on the menu. I had dropped off her daughter at an appointment and was going to the store to get milk. I called from the parking lot before I left after getting the milk. I was told to go back in and get the cream cheese. So I did. Once again I called to tell her I was on the way and was told she had forgotten to get sour cream so once again I went back in the store for a single item(3rd)time. Went to different cashiers so they wouldn't think that I do my shopping one item at a time.

Thank you SOOOOO MUCH for the intro to this video! You are so real and hilarious and that's what I love about your videos and your channel. Everyone tries so hard to hide and change themselves to get views and I swear I watch you because I feel like we could be best friends or neighbors!
