Paul has inspired me to try my hand at biscuits and gravy. I'm terrible at baking and was worried I'd screw up the biscuits, but watching Paul haphazardly dump ingredients into a bowl then cook in a dutch oven and have them come out perfect, after doing it for the first time no less, I think I can manage it in a modern kitchen

Mr. Harrell, thanks for this. I lost my last living relative October 2nd and have no family of my own. My friends are off doing their own thing and my presence in their stuff would be, at best, rude. The Holidays are, for lots of people like me, synonymous with Lonelidays. Thanks both for thinking of folks like me, and for entertaining and educating folks like me. It is very appreciated, and very welcome. Oh, and you did make a slight error in my view about one thing. There is no such thing as "too much" frosting. Mr. Fritts, I too spend the holidays solo, not "alone." May I suggest considering doing something with the day.....something you like doing, somewhere you like or might like going, some "event" you might like doing, some "adventure" you might like to do. It can make for a fun, maybe even, great, day/weekend/etc, and you may find that you have a better holiday than many who may have suffered through interaction with in-laws and/or family, that were less than enjoyable.

Happy Thanksgiving, Paul! Yeah, I'm estranged from what little family I have left, and am sitting at home, with only my kitty as company. I was very glad to see your Turkey Day Special show up. In our house, growing up, we used Thanksgiving as a day not only for a massive horde of kin coming over for my mom's cooking (can't blame them, mom was an awesome cook), but to remember everything we were thankful for. Even though my remaining kin and I haven't spoken in well over a decade, I feel that all things considered, I have much to be thankful for. I'm alive, reasonably healthy, have enough to meet my needs, a roof over my head, food to eat, and a kitty that tolerates me fairly well. So many don't even have a roof or a bed; yeah, I'm thankful for what I have. It's not a lot, but it's enough.

@@CaptainoftheCs my British compatriot, I would offer a gentle correction here. The second amendment has no bearing on wether or not I am allowed to own a firearm. I would have the right to own one if the second amendment prohibited firearm ownership. I was born with this right, and so were you. Every person born in every country has the innate right to property and to self defense. Firearms are both property and a means of self defense. I'm sorry your government has seen fit to strip you and the rest of the subjects of the crown if this right. It's a travesty.

@@innawoodsman Thats all good in theory, until you get to court and some liberal judge sends you down for 30 years. The law is so backward in Britain, you can be prosecuted for using anything as a weapon, even a stick in the forest, if it was one’s intention to use it as so. Get your head around that.

First. thank you for the video. This maybe helpful maybe not. Camp clean incinerator. Equipment needed: flat end spade - metal fence pole - grate. some way to make spark. make square hole in ground 12 to 16" by 6 to 8" 6 to 8" deep. make a deeper smaller 2" rut in center of hole. place pole segments at each end in to the rut and out into the air over the side. place grate inside over the center rut and ends of poles. place dry grass or anything that start fire. place wood over starter as much as needed. this will not only burn clean (no smoke) because the fire will pull air under the fire. this will burn anything thing placed into it ever glass. when camping ends place all trash into hole burn it. replace earth back in hole pull out poles when not hot. this works in rain if started before the rain. great video thank you again.

Not all... I’m Native American and I buy Native American cigarettes from the reservation. Mine in particular come from the Mohawk Nation. Native made are the few that are actually 100% pure tobacco and do NOT have the crap in commercial cigarettes... even the filter is natural fibers. No “carpet glue” to make them go out!
