Price se leke engine tak Pajero ka engine 2835 cc wala hai Wahin thar ka engine 1995 so Tum khud hi soch lo Or bro gadi maintenance ke upar hota hai beshak kitna bhi purani ho bahut se ameer jade ek saal mein hi koi see bhi gadi ki gand maar lete hein.. Price comparison at that time of Pajero is 18 to 25 lakh Or new thar 10 to 16 lakh ab tum batao kya kehna chahte ho?

Funniest thing is I can get a used Pajero for only 5lakhs. Pajero offers a super select 4x4 system where I can make selections between 2WD, AWD and 4x4. While thar just offers a part time 4x4 system. A 1st gen Thar still has an after market value of 10 lakhs. Add difflocks for 2 lakhs to a pajero and a chip tune for 25k, it would perform like a tank. Also the pajero has a better wheel articulation. The pajero is just mechanically much better.

That is an Old Pajero and old Pajero gets the raw power and torque. But in Off-roading only Force Gurkha can give competition to Pajero because it also has the raw off-road things that Pajero offers.

I too believe that Pajero was the best it's was a Masterpiece of Japanese Engineering 12 years back Pajero was launched in price of 22 lakhs in India . But MAHINDRA is also a genius for making such Nice off roading vehicles in such low prices .Thar is a good SUV under 14 lakhs

Dude I know that the Japanese have been known for better 4x4 vehicle development , however this Pajero makes lesser power and torque than even a scorpio ! And the thar has a more powerful engine than a Scorpio ! Plus 42:1 crawl ratio of the Mahindra drivetrain is better than that Pajero's 28:1 crawl ratio ! Yes currently Mitsubishi is making the Pajero with Impressive performance ,but that particular Pajero is an outdated 1995 model!

Bro old Pajero was off-road god but i can't say the same for the Current Pajero Sport the older the car is the more raw power and torque it will use at that time no emission norms were there when Pajero SFX was launched in India and that's why the Pajero SFX even outscored the Pajero Sport.

Bhai it depends on driver to driver, thar 4H mein bhi chadh jaati with using less power but uski bhi trick hoti hain aur nayi gaadi hain toh driver bhi use to nhi hota hain clutch aur accelerator se toh apne anuman nhi lagana chahiye ki thar haaar gyi, thar aisi aisi cheeze kar sakti hain joh pajero chhodo fortuner bhi nhi kar sakti.

Pajero was the first modern SUV launched by Japanese Gaint Mitsubishi in 1981 , and in India Pajero SF was launched in 1991 with 4WD system this was frist modern Indian SUV , than in 1998 Tata Launched it's 4WD SUV Tata Safari except from it's another version of rear two wheel drive Safari SUV . Mahindra Scorpio 4WD was launched in 2002 in India .

@Dr Munna Bhai MBBS Pajero is a good reliable SUV ,but the thar has higher gearing than the Pajero ! Thar is more capable but the driver sucks! Also power and torque figures of the Pajero is less than even a second generation Scorpio ! Not creating hate on Pajero because I itself love mitsubishi and their new SUVs are making impressive performance with higher gearing ,but that doesn't mean the second generation Pajero is the best!

@@__rajpatil__ oh yeah ,there are many SUVs which can beat the Pajero ! The Pajero is indeed a good reliable SUV (after all Japanese SUVs are known for it) but you know what, the Pajero has only 118 bhp and 275 nm of torque ,even a second generation scorpio makes higher output ,i.e 120bhp and 290nm torque! Plus gearing of the Pajero is shorter than the second gen Scorpio ! Lastly the Pajero has only 28:1 crawl ratio compared to Scorpio's 42:1 crawl ratio ! If a Scorpio has better specs ,then obviously the thar is much more better in offroad capability ! Also this Pajero is an outdated 1995 model which was still sold in India until 2012! People like you are just too stupid!

How can you compare the Thar with a car that is placed two segments above it !!even 12 years ago the Pajero was priced around 22 lakhs.!!Compare the endeavour and fortuner that is 12 years old with the Pajero!

Really what makes you even think both are in different segements. The only difference is with the wheelbase, besides there was a short wheelbase version of the Pajero.

@@GRcorolla-bt3mn Honest opinion Pajero is a rally offroader capable of going anywhere much like the Land Cruiser From Toyota. Thar is a softroader compared to Pajero. Put both of these in a small rally offroading environment and see, you will get your result
