Hi! I hope you dont think that this is weird, but your comment inspired me to make a poem, so here goes. You deserve the night. The way the stars shine and the moon stays bright letting you know that you're not alone. The cold fresh air that makes you feel just that little bit more alive. All the "A.M" videos you do give me early morning summer vibes. Like the feeling of packing up for a month of camp at 3 am with nothing but the sound of the crickets fading and the sound of the music coming through your earbuds. Or early morning walks in the city and stopping at your favorite coffee shop. This description reminds me of the old times. My parents worked abroad and I lived with my grandparents. My grandfather was strict to put it mildly, but I still have these old memories of when my grandparents and I woke up early in the morning, packed our things to go on a road trip or to vacation. There is this dew of nostalgia, of early mornings when it was slightly cold, but I was happy. These are some of the best memories I have with my grandparents; just being content and excited for the future, even if it was just for a happy summer morning.

Its not 3am but I wish it was. Its the only time I can be alone and gather my thoughts. To be me without someone telling me not to be. To cry when no one is looking. To laugh out loud and have fun. reminds me of early mornings on summer break, you stay up all night playing games, trying to stretch out the break as long as you can before you go back to school. you open a window and feel the hot-humid air from the aftermath of a thunderstorm and you see the moon and all the wonderful stars. makes you wonder why you even feel sad when there is such beauty beyond such a disappointing world.

It makes me think about some night I could spend in New York City in the future looking out the window, catching some fresh air, this music playing in the background. I can see people, stars, the moon and hear the city's night noises. Sirens play from far away and when I look right at my eye's height I can stare at the whole Manhattan skyline. 🌇🌉

This reminds me of a late night I had with my mom one time. We were just chatting on the porch, and my sister came out and joined us with Oreos. And then we were just eating Oreos on the driveway as the colors in the sky became darker and we saw the stars.

the same with me. I used to stay with my mom and elder brother till 2,3 am at night. we were sitting on old car chairs and look in the sky and talk. this was like a dream. amazing. mom and bro were smoking. I was happy. my dad came, looked at us and sat with us for some minutes then he went back home to sleep. and we just sat and talk. I was 12.

My head is in a place of struggle right now, between the music and the comments, it's a nice sliver of peace. Oh dear you. Thanks for uploading this, its currently 3:10 am as I'm writing this. I was listening to "that 2am fresh air" and I'm like... I think this is the first time I'm listening to this at 3am! And I found this one... Needed this, can't sleep because my 21st birthday is coming in a day and a half and... This reminds me of the times I’d go out to eat dinner with my family and on our way back home I’d watch the sunset, or when I’d have to wake up really early in the summer for summer vacation and my uncle is driving us to the airport to Florida and I’m just chilling in the back seat with my pillow, listening to music while I have to chance.

Recently, things have been really rough. A lot of my old friends seem to dislike talking to me now, and i’m afraid to talk to them or their friends, a lot of people i’ve met in the past few weeks have been playing with my emotions, i’ve only recently got away from someone who has groomed me for a year, yet i feel bad and wanna return for some reason, valentines is around the corner and i’m scared to ask out one of my crushes, i don’t even know what identify as (gender, sexuality, even as a person), and all in all, I seem like nothing but a burden and crybaby to my family and friends because i don’t wanna tell them anything. All these pent up emotions, the feeling of hopelessness and loneliness... it hurts a lot. Heck, i’ve thought about ending it a lot recently, close to swallowing all of my antidepressants and a whole bottle of pain relievers, then music like this... it helps me realize that life really is beautiful, and that I know it will all get better, even if it doesn’t seem like it... that one day, I will achieve my dreams, and that I will find someone to love someday!

I know how hard it can be sometimes, especially in these times we're living in. I myself am suffering from depression, and everything seems so hopeless most of the time and I often think about how everyone would be better without me. And then, I remember that after all I went through, I still have friends besides me to support me. I deserve to live and be happy. You deserve to live and be happy. We have the right to live for ourselves. We don't know each other, but I really hope that everything will be okay for you, and that you'll find your own happiness someday. (and as trans guy, I'm 100% with you. You'll find yourself, I'm sure of it.)

I'm so so sorry youve been going through all that!! You are not a burden to anyone, even if it feels like it! Please hang in there. Overdosing can actually be a very painful way to die and you can't undo it, my mother recently attempted last month and she said she regrets it alot. I'm so proud of you for trying to see the good. I know how hard things can be. It's good for you that you got away from the person grooming you, no one deserves that at all! It's not your fault. And about your gender and sexuality, you'll get there and figure it out :) alot of people go through questioning times with identity and you're not alone!! Just have confidence and trust yourself and take it slow :) again, I'm really sorry things have been tough. You'll be in my thoughts and I hope things look up for you really soon!!

I can also tell you that things do get better. I know I don't know you or your story, but I know the hopeless and lonely feeling you talked about. And even though I still have problems, Im at a point in life where I haven't really thought about ending things at all for a few months now. Things got better for me, and I'm generally happier these days. I found support from the people I love, I healed from trauma from my family, and I'm even dating someone who's really good to me. But a few months ago, I thought this would never happen. I thought I couldn't be happy, and didn't deserve to anyways. My family was falling apart, my mental health was the worst it's ever been, and my old best friend who I could always go to ended up shutting me out. But hey, things got better :) just hang in there and I hope the same happens for you!! 💛 Have a fantastic day/night! I'm routing for you

I purposely stay up at night and just listen to the rain or soft winds. It's the most calming time when nobody is there to disturb you or remind you things that will stress you out. It's just you, in your own little world and comfort zone.
