I know taking head shots from a steel chair is shunned nowadays because of the CTE and the damage it does to the brian. Which is 1000% understandable. But I can't lie, seeing a steel chair to the head, without wrestlers putting their hands up looks so much more believable and brutal.

Use a softer aluminum chair instead of a steel chair. Instead they use this puss-ass method of hitting them in the stomach and hitting them on the back which looks fucking lame

I've heard a story where the spot was planned for a "gimmicked" chair that was sanded down but was misplaced at the time. I can't find evidence of this right now so grain of salt, but I'm fairly sure I heard this same "swing for the fences" story from Cody
