To reduce fines, you can turn gps speed limit to car under gameplay settings. It is a magical cloaking device that makes the police think you are a car😉

There used to be a "feature" where you would only be detected for jumping red lights when driving on the correct side of the road - it looks like that's how you got away with the early brush with the traffic lights in this episode, so presumably it's not been patched.

Time moves in a mysterious way, you say? Well, allow me to enlighten you on this mystery. I'll even be a gentleman and put the spoiler behind a proper "read more" click so you can ignore it promptly. That should do. It's a 10:1 scale. For both distance and time. So those 33 minutes would've been 3 minutes and ~40s until it expires.

Except time in the game slows down considerably when you're within a town (and AFAIK also in gas stations, rest stops etc.), I'm just not sure by how much but it's a lot. It makes sense because when you're waiting at red lights, that is happening at realistic time scales so the game compensates for this so you don't lose too much time in cities or when fueling up. And also when you're in any kind of menu like the Freigh market, time is stopped, so Colonel had all the time in the world for dithering around making a decision.

No border from one country to another country, so you could actually drive with "white or brown sugar" or perhaps with some "fun tobacco" that makes you hungry, you can make a lot of money from it, it's a shame that that function is not included in the game.

Your point around the 19 min mark where you want to load and fix it down, you can do in Truck and Logistics Simulator. On the off chance you haven't heard of it but I thought you did a play once maybe?

I played ATS a lot when it came out, (although, I haven't played it in quite some time now), I think I have 23 trucks and drivers....the fun part is starting the new peons in the rubbish trucks and making them earn nicer ones based on performance. Great fun. lol

Yeah, one of the best things you can do early on is get yourself a second truck, then put someone in your starter truck. That way even when you're faffing about you still have income.

I've maxxed out the number of drivers the game allows, and it's only a paltry 355. I really wish that would be increased I've got a lot more garages available!
