Sometimes developers just want to add more content post-launch, and you can't just release everything as a free update, both because it potentially overwhelms players late to the game, and because it pisses money down the drain. There have been some great DLCs before, and I trust in Cuphead's developers.

Cuphead is one of the best games I’ve ever played. You know you have the perfect difficulty when you’re saying to yourself, fuck this shit this is insanely hard it’s impossible. And then when you finally beat it, holy shit that was a great level

Same, it took me about 8 hours to beat the game, and while I did hate some bosses *cough* Bun Bun and Beppi *cough,* I still say that it was still a really good game overall. I can excuse some of these guys' deaths, like in 0:20, but most of these are just from the people being bad at the game (see: 0:31 and 0:34 for examples).

Ausar0 Playing casually doesn't mean "not very often and with little desire to improve". It means "playing for the enjoyment of the game rather than for prestige, skill, points, etc." Someone can play a game casually, but also play often and desire to improve because they feel they will enjoy the game more if they play it often and are better at it. They do tend to be worse than someone who is actively trying to win, though, because they just want to play the game instead of actively looking to get really good at it.

Miss Sadie to some degree, yeah. I felt like that with the entire first world (and I know what you're gonna say "bUt WoRlD oNe iS eAsY bItCh"). But I think once I got to the dragon, it's all pure annoyance now. I've been at the dragon for quite a while now, and I've already used all of my coins and I've finished the rest of the levels before the dragon, so that's my only choice now.

0mn0m8w31rdc4ndy i thought that world one was a very good balance between hard and not so hard. I thought the root pack was a walk in the park and gibby and croaks wasnt too bad, had abit of trouble nailing the yellow platforms that have the balls you have to jump through when they bounce. That being said, i thought Hilda Berg was so tough, took me a good 30-40 game overs until i beat her. Im at world too and struggling to beat that clown also djimmy is a tough cookie to beat.
