Welcome back 🤩 I don't know of any other band where the fans' playlists differ so much. So, this is just a quite random selection of songs for you: For some very special live videos try Freedom, Play, Real existence and their most recent live performance of Endless Story (you will love that one!). With Moratorium (Live at Zepp), Rinne (MV) and Dice you can hear more hard rock while more catchy songs are Choose me (MV) and Alone (MV). And if you want to hear some ballads then maybe About Us (MV) and Daydreaming (MV) are good picks. But don't miss some of their instrumentals like From now on (MV) and Onset (Live). And finally a very special live performance is Manners/Blackhole (Official Online Live)🍌 And there is more: For example the songs with Miku in lead, their christmas acoustic concert and the 'cover band' Band-Maiko ;-) Don't wait so long for your next Band Maid song, po 🕊

このバンドの音楽を事前の情報や何の知識もなく突然に聞いた場合、多くの人は衝撃を受けます。その衝撃があまりにも大きいが為に呆然と金縛りにあったように立ち竦む。実際に私はそれを体験し、目の前で言葉を失い金縛りにあったようにピクリとも動けない状況に陥った人をライブの現場で何人も見てきました。彼女達は正真正銘のライブバンドです。信じられないかもしれませんが、スタジオ録音よりもライブ演奏の方が遥かに素晴らしく、ライブでの演奏をより良くする為に曲の改訂や時には歌詞の修正すら躊躇しません。この録音も素晴らしいですが、これ以上に素晴らしい演奏をライブで聞いた経験のある私は是非とも実際に生の演奏を体験される事を勧めます。

Very nice reaction (welcome back to Band-Maid). This song was a collaboration with Mike Einziger guitarist from the band Incubus (they met at the Point Fest in St. Louis in 2023) and struck up a connection which lead to this song. The lyrics were written by Miku (second vocalist/rhythm guitar/red hair). The singer Saiki, designed all the outfits just for this performance because it's so different from their other songs. And you are correct, it's about their friendship with their band mates, they've spend most of their free time with each other for the last 11 years since the band was founded.

Band-Maid has such a large catalog of songs that cover so many different vibes and they do all of them well. They can melt your face off with songs like "Puzzle", "Shambles", and "Warning". But they can also be uplifting, heart warming, and encouraging with songs like "Page", "Smile", and "About Us".

This song seems like a song from the band members to each other. It really does feel as if they are playing and singing to one another, which is lovely.

One of the best songs from one of the best J metal bands ( or J rock. Whatever they're excellent) This one really got people right in the feels. Another band you might enjoy is Unlucky Morpheus, who like Band Maid, make unusual choices. Great reaction!

If you join Band-Maid's fan club (yeah, ya gotta pay for it. It's a revenue stream, but their merch is the good stuff), they've posted a "Making of Bestie" video. It's a fairly typical promo, but you do see what they're about. You see how friendly Akane is. Misa is almost painfully shy and can't wait to get off camera. Kanami is so enthusiastic, but very private. Both Saiki and Miku are very confident and detail oriented. Saiki is serious as a heart attack. The one surprise is how involved Saiki is with the wardrobe and that she is on her knees adjusting Miku's stockings and dress, and hovering over Kanami adjusting and fussing over her gauze epaulettes.

There are still 120+ more songs to go, so look forward to more reactions.😉 @skrrytch has a good line up for you to follow as you go down the Pigeon-hole. Their portfolio is deep and diverse. If doing "Secret Maiko Lips" OMV by the "cover band" Band-Maiko, I suggest doing a two-for and start with Band-Maids "Secret My Lips" OMV. The other Band-Maiko song with an OMV is "Gion Cho" which is an Band-Maiko original. Band-Maiko is one of the few bands who can go head to head with Maids and hold their own. Funny how these two bands are never in the same place.🤔🤭 PO!🕊 🤘😆🤘

Bestie, in the vein of other great mid-tempo Band-Maid songs like Daydreaming, Anemone, Endless Story, PAGE, Wonderland, Awkward, Start Over, Mirage, At the Drop of a Hat and Smile, was co-written by Michael Einziger of Incubus. MISA's playing and bass tone are setting new standards... and Akane's drumming is so in-the-pocket and distinguishable... and Kanami's solo is Daydreaming masterful! The recording and mix are as enjoyable as the song and beautiful MV! And Miku’s English lyrics are heartfelt. Is Band-Maid a band of fashion-forward, trend-setting Besties? 💞 Thx, Mikey & Band-Maid! FYI - The Maids just released a "Making of Bestie" on their websites where they explain the song and look of their awesome MV. Thx, Why!

I don't think you have done "Hate?" from these ladies yet, and it's completely different side of the Band-Maid spectrum from this and leaves no doubt how Saiki, the lead singer and writer of the lyrics for the song, feels about the person the lyrics are directed at! As for this song, yes, it's about five beasties that are called Band-Maid!
