He made his professional debut on February 20th, 1990 and now he's on a journey to make 'Abs Pak' an international success. Clay is seeking £50,000 in return for a 25% share in his business, but is this a business any of the Dragons can get behind?
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

I don't know when this episode was aired but this is where in my opinion the dragons have a too old fashioned mind-set. Imagine investing in this guy, pump money into social media advertising. With that personality you can guarantee peoples attentions will be grabbed.

The problem is that there is no guarantee on a return on investment. Your idea is good, but does it make money sufficient to warrant an investment? Not for the sort of investments the dragons are looking for.

Duncan underestimates people's impulsiveness and extreme financial irresponsibility. People would pay $30 or $40 for this, use it twice, then throw it in the closet. This behavior has been proven time and time again, for decades, with every type of gym and workout equipment, and gym memberships themselves. And this is all without knowing the actual quality or success rate of the item.

One of the nicest guys I have seen on the programme! I do sit ups by sticking my right hand under my back and keep my left leg bent and raise myself up only slightly to avoid the 'neck up'. I don't know if that is any better but I have had no neck and back pain yet.
