I actually drank this often as a kid. My stepdad was trying to play a prank on me by saying it tasted like chocolate milk. It didn’t, but I ended up liking it and drank it for years. He actually got annoyed because his prank backfired and I actually enjoyed it while it grossed him out.

It's actually pretty common in media when you see food consumed that it isn't actually eaten. Actors might have to do 20 takes of the scene they can't be drinking or eating on every one. When it's food they usually have a spit bucket for example.

Pepsi and milk was a big thing in the 70s when Laverne from the TV show, Laverne and Shirley, regularly drank it. I tried it and loved it. I drank it that way for years but I bet it's been 30 years since I've had it. I think I'll stop by the grocers on my way home.

@@dhera5 It's actually not. Doodh soda, a combo of lemon-lime soda and milk, has been a popular summer beverage in Pakistan and northern India for ages. Pepsi is not a lemon-lime soda.
