I was in several blues bands. After a while I quit (not musiacal reasons). I stopped listening to music at all for several years. I discovered Japanese math rock. ( Tricot was my first ) Now I listen to music again. Depression was a part of that. I feel better now. Thank you to all the Japanese bands that helped me.

greetings from kentucky, thanks for this..i have not heard a few of these artists 🙏 i might also recommend "How to count one to ten" (or the entire offering from the label "preco records" including my favorites like "smoug" & "aus", although more electronic post rock than math, per se) i love japan 🇯🇵 ❤
