Hi Jos, next time you see a nice cat but has a chipped ear, still pick it up. It represents all the TNR cats that are rescued, neutered and released. (or spayed if female). The Doctors will ear tip (snip off} the ones steralized so everyone trapping the ferals will know which ones are already done. They are the best surprise!

I have a photo of my bulldog Beuford when he was a puppy making that exact face as the figurine you picked up. He passed away almost two years ago, but that brought a smile to my face because the similarity is so uncanny. Thank you for sharing ❤

that cat with the broke ear, his ears look like the cats that are catched, then spaded or neutered, and released back into where found to live out their life. one ear is cut to show that they are already fixed.

I like it when a display tells a “story”. The booth with the lighting does that, similar or related items are grouped together, and the lighting is used to highlight items. Besides your booth, you could have fun with this in your new store.

The German plate looks like WMF "Ikora" by Karl Wiedmann. As someone else already mentioned, the sticker indicates it was sold between 1945 and 1949. But it is not unlikely that is an older piece. Wiedmann was actually Art Deco (1930s, Bauhaus). So it could be they had stock left because WMF had to stop their usual production in 1939 to produce military hardware. After 1945 they started on a much smaller scale but gave up ceramics in 1949 and glass in 1954.

Kudos to the Antique Mall dealers at Lewisville. They definitely had great booths with amazing styling and really good merchandise. It appears to have good management to make it a joy to shop there!

I live about 30-40 minutes away from lewisburg. I was just there a couple weeks ago. The goodwill shelves are always so bare there. Never really find much so I don't go that often. I love that first booth to the left in the antique store. Their prices are so good and always has such fun vintage.

The yellow vase at 16.28 is Bitossi. It's from the 1960's. You should be able to dobbel your money if not a bit more. In Kate's video 5 days ago within the first minute she is filming an orange decanter that sits right next to the same yellow Bitossi vase. The price was $230 something but it looks bigger than the one you picked up.

That's a great art deco piece. Also available in uranium glass. The black paint seems to come off easily. This one seems okay. Last week I bought some corroded art deco. Extremely aged on the surface. It really works for that piece. In general art decos soul is new and shiny.

I was at my local good will yesterday Monday and caught them removing blue tag clothes off the racks Blue is color of the week Ask manager he gave me lame excuse racks were too crowded They weren't Told him it was scamming the public and I've seen this happen at this store several times. Caught in the act

Our goodwill color changes on Tuesday and Wednesday they pull that color and put it on trucks and take it to another store. Which I guess is good. That is why they say the best time to shop for half price is the day they put it up cuz the next day is gone.

This place is my newest find for cool glass and vintage finds.. I would have been shocked if I was walking around and seen you shopping here😲. I seen a gorgeous pink bubble glass piece for $50 and I passed,now sorry I did. I also go to that Goodwill regularly because there is alot if old money in Lewisburg and ppls kids just donate rather than sell. Hope to run into you one day in Lewisburg😊

When you looked at the cat with the broken ear at Lewisburg Antiques, I wish you had noticed the gorgeous dark purple pitcher with frosted(?) leaf design which was sitting by the cat. Don't you hate it when we point out something you missed? Lol! Great stuff at that place, though!
