I used DLC persona (specifically Izanagi) to speedrun through my 2nd playthrough for 100%. Thinking to dispatch trash mobs in palaces is very tiring when you've seen them in your first playthrough. I was focusing on maxing all social links anyways (no to harem route though loyal to the best girl beep boop Makoto) so breezing through enemy encounters was a lifesaver.

Seeing this fights again makes me sad that there is no boss rush mode or mod because this fights thematically and mechanically are very cool but depending on how you are you can sometimes breeze through them easily.

Genuinely when I first fused Izanagi-no-Okami Pic. I didn't use him for a while because I knew full well that he was overpowered. I got so used to not using him that the first time I actually struggled, I spent a while trying to find the best tactical move to make with my personas, until I saw remembered, oh yeah, I have Myriad Truths! and then the fight was over

When I got Persona 5 Royal, I instantly decided to use five of the DLC Personas (I didn’t want to leave Arsene out of the team) because it felt like I had the previous Wild Cards helping me. One of the Personas I chose was Thanatos. Needless to say, I started cackling when I realized that his level meant his signature move did a critical hit every time I used it when I was in Kamoshida’s Palace. That team helped me breeze through the Palace in one day, which I don’t mind because I’m playing the game for the story, so I don’t plan on switching them out anytime soon. (Incidentally, having the DLC Personas also meant I got access to Raoul early, so I essentially got revenge for the game forcing me to fuse Arsene away earlier.)

A perfect tag (all of the party members do a tag) = level 4 tag that u uses any move that will cost 0 sp that can also be further boosted by also socializing with party members at darts

I mean can a win in JRPG be really hard? It's a chance based combat and all you do is press buttons without a time limit, harder difficulty means it takes more grind (again, in a JRPG...) to proceed
