The only thing he got wrong was the emergency lane thing, it's taught that if a emergency vehicle is near by you are to pull off to the side of the road,not sure what part of the US that guy is from?

But that is the point that the video is trying to get across. America having a much shorter history is influencing the perception of time spans of at least some of the American citizens in weird ways. Everyone is used to what he/ she knows. I got my bachelor degree from a university that will for some decades continue to be more than thrice as old as the American declaration of independence. I have an perception of time that these Americans would find weird, too.

French fries?? For God sake, that was a Belgian invention.

No, it was not! It's a Belgian staple now because potatoes were Belgium's main crop for a long time, but fried potatoes where a Parisian invention and the decision to grow potatoes in Belgium was made by the French state in the mid-1700, when most of Belgium was part of the Kingdom of France (modern Belgium was created in 1830). But Belgians have even tricked the French and themselves into believing that claim.
