I loved Craig, wish he would come back. Carson is my #1 because I watched him from 1970(age 13) to his retirement in 1992. Johnny was more than an interviewer, in earlier years there were comedy skits and the like. With music groups/singers on regularly once or twice a week The Tonight Show was often a variety show as late night talk. In the 1970's and into the 1980's it was the only place to see comedians of the day.....many on their 1st sppearances. For me it is Johnny #1 and Craig #2. I will say his format of hot women as a staple of his show was brilliant and for me thst made the show a classic.

I was blessed to take my mom to see the Craig Ferguson show a number of years ago. We got to see Dana Carvey interviewed and it was so much fun. He really is just as hilarious in person and I miss his show every day
