@Maynard Runkle if a dog attacks somebody that's purely the owners fault. I grew up with Staffies and my younger siblings. We raised our staffies be good around people. Any dog can be dangerous but that's due to the dangerous people that's train them to be. I understand there will forever be a fear of dogs however none of the staffies I had have ever hurt my baby siblings or me. They are historical known as nanny dogs.

@Maynard Runkle you are comparing domesticated dogs to a tiger or other wild feral animals? Sweetie the reason why this dogs are "vicious" is because of humans breeding them to be fighter. Humans kill waaay more people then dogs STATISTICAL. None of the staffies I've been around have bit me or my baby siblings. Like I understand there is a place of fear however not every Staffie, Rottweiler or any dog is born vicious, it is how you raise them as stated they are domesticated. Dogs that attack human are dogs that are mistreated, neglected or abused. They don't have the words to say you're hurting me. If you don't like the breed that is fine but respect others who are responsible owners and love their Staffies.

I would pedal my mountain bike from one end of a football field while my brother held my staffy, and when i reached half way he would let my staffy go, and my dog would beat me to the other end of the football field despite me having 24 gears

You guys honestly think this is my only good experience with staffies/pits? What a joke... It was the best I had so far! Let me put it this way: I NEVER had a bad experience with a staffie/pittie! They are amazing and lovely dogs to hang out with and just love all the cuddles!

I miss him lots but the abuse he endured before we got him caused him to have congestive heart failure at 11 and I chose to let him go when he gave me those pained eyes after a couple of weeks of failed treatment. I was his human, he wasn't my dog, lol.

Hey.. the labs are some of the worst dogs out there.. many ppl, almost all think they are just cute and just are Nice all the fucking time.. this is not the case.. for example, first time my staffie got attacked, guess what, a fucking lab.. when we pass labs, the bark their face off.. mine just looks at them and smiles.. dont even make a sound. MANoWAR labs are not "some of the worst dogs out there" they are the same as every other dog they just happen to be some of the worst trained thanks to people not understanding that dogs are only as good or as bad as you train them. People think that labs, retrivers and other such "family dogs" need little training which isn't true about any dog breed.

Andy Brooks such a dangerous and unpredictable breed? Okay that shows you know very little about what you're talking about. Staffys, like almost every other breed of dog only do what they are taught to do, they are no more prone to agression than any other dog. The reason they have a higher attack/fatality statistics than other dogs is for multiple reasons. 1. When most other dog breeds attack they bite and then let go, staffys bite and then hold on usually causing a worse wound so a lot of other dog attacks go unreported whereas staffys bites don't. 2. All dogs react to fear, since a lot of people are scared of staffys they act like idiots around them making the dog skittish and more likely to bite, if you act this way around any dog it makes the dog more likely to do something unpredictable and finally 3. Dickheads who want a dog as a status symbol of looking hard don't buy labradors they buy staffys or rottweilers, they then teach the dogs to be agressive and so the dog is agressive, shocker. Whenever you see a staffy attack story it's not in some loving home with good parents, it's always some chavy asshole or someone that neglected their dog. People need to get it through their heads that dogs are only as bad as their owners, dogs are designed to do what their master teaches them to do, if you're an idiot who doesn't teach your dog anything or teaches violence then you'll get a bad dog, simple as that.

I wish I wasn't actually. My mom aborted the wrong child. I also refuse to ever have children for a multitude of reasons, so nice try. Still, with the amount of dogs and particularly pit bulls and chihuahuas being carelessly bred by backyard breeders and then thrown into the shelter to ultimately be euthanized (my own little county euthanized to the tune of 40 cats and 20 dogs every single fucking day,) yes, I do feel strongly that there shouldn't be any more being bred for a while.
