As a fan, when I first saw the clip, I was like "Oh no Tony, what were you thinking!?" But when I saw the full video, I got it. Still thought it was risky due to the current climate, but it was clear what he was doing and what angle he was going for with the JOKE. Glad to see he's still working and Kill Tony is one of the freshest podcast/shows around.

I love his show its kind of nice to see something so unsafe where everything is so safe. But he does cross the line sometimes. Sometimes it’s like watching a car accident. It’s so horrible but you can’t look away. But hey keep it up. Don’t say your sorry, no explaining. Just do your thing.

The ironic thing about Tony being described as an “insult comic” is that he provides a platform for up and coming comics to catapult their career. He inspires people to work hard, to come up with new material, genuine material, and disregard what any heckler has to say. On Kill Tony I’ve seen testimonies that would make you want to cry. He inspires comics from all walks of life to be humble, and laugh at themselves while simultaneously not comprising their work ethic and integrity.

The only person who was ever impervious to this was Norm; and it’s the same thing that comedians criticized him for. He didn’t care about his career, he just wanted to make funny comedy. Having a great career would be a bonus, but he wasn’t gonna dance around for some moron executives and make a fool of himself just to get it. And if someone had lied like this to cancel him; he would have come out with a whole special making fun of only those same group of people. And the people who got it would get it, and it would be 100x funnier than any of the crap you see today by these guys who are so desperate to have their fancy pantsy little careers. And the people who didn’t get it would scream and make a fool of themselves for even further comedic relief by anyone who could see it. In fact people who are like this don’t just do it because they know the result will be what I’m writing here, that they are the greatest to ever do it; they did it because they had true humility. They literally did not care about career success. I feel like I have to repeat this to people so it sinks into their poisoned brains; THEY DID NOT CARE. Norm would have thought that nothing could be gayer, more pompous, and less funny than caring about your stupid career. Psychology has been badly poisoned by the lack of an understand for this fact. They’ll say “imposter syndrome” or “self sabotage”; where the self they’re referring to isn’t the actual you. It’s the ego they were referring to as the self, which convinces us that it is us so that it can build us up to let us down; it’s just a rollercoaster. And this is so successful that people start to formulate theories around doing whatever might be necessary to maintain the status sought by the ego. People don’t want spiritual freedom, or peace of mind; even if they could be convinced that it’s literal heaven on earth - which it is. They would rather the endless ups and downs; they’ve convinced themselves that heaven would be boring.
