His "inauguration fund" and his reelection campaign in general have been his main conduits for misappropriated money from the beginning. I think he's probably done much bolder thefts of public money as time went on. Recall the $400 odd million in military aid he withheld from Ukraine wasn't entirely accounted for and there was a weird "extra" amount (about ten million bucks or so) that was mysteriously tacked onto the original amount. Yet not all of it ended up being transferred to Ukraine. It's only that stupid OLC memo saying a president can't be prosecuted that has kept him out of prison. He probably thinks it's because nobody can tell. But look how many of us ordinary people can see what he's doing. I wish him and his family and helpers long lives -- behind bars -- in a string of state prisons, hopefully!

The wait for a green card by that channel is approximately 10 years. That's in your home country, unless you have a different work visa for the US (but it's more complicated than that). After 5 years of having a green card, you are allowed to apply for US citizenship. There is a test/interview & then a ceremony which is what was shown. Once you are a US citizen, you can sponsor the same direct relatives for legal permanent residency. This is given greater priority for citizens - I think the wait is between 3 and 5 years, as opposed to 10 years. I speak from experience with my family. Spot the differences.
