The theme of it is the otherworldly power that music has over us (for good and for bad) especially when we are children. I remember as a kid in the 80’s, long car journeys to the beach, listening to New Order, Michael Jackson, Erasure, Genesis, Enigma… and the music just gripped me in a unique way, you can never quite re-live that feeling but you remember it well. Music seems like it’s coming from another world, which it sort of is, when you’re young; you just can’t imagine how any of it is actually made or who these strange people really are…it’s so mysterious and fascinating.
