Cell's greatest flaw was how overwhelmingly dominant the Frost Demon and Saiyan DNA were in his genetic composition. If the Earthling/Namekian DNA were more proportional to balance out his worst impulses, he might've been another Vegeta.

Well he did say to Gohan he was going to go to planet after planet destroying them, so he was planning on becoming a Destroyer God basically. So If Cell defeated Gohan he'd be a Pseudo God Of Destruction. Until getting a rude reality check when the real God Of Destruction Beerus shows up and smacks the goofy outta Cell.

One of the most interesting parts about him is that he becomes more like a Saiyan once he becomes "Perfect".

For me, the show peaked with the Cell Games. It was just great. After that I feel it got a little too silly with the endless power creep - still enjoyable though.

I made some calculations and that asteoroid weighs more than 1000 ton at least, a good feat.

At the end of this video it shows everyone looking at the asteroids falling but doesn't show everyone freaking out and then it cuts to the scene of Goku, Gohan, and Krillin fishing lying on their backs and you see one of those asteroid lights go by in the sky yet they don't know it's from Cell

Cell should have told Gohan about this event in their final fight . "You are ungrateful Gohan. I saved this planet from an asteroid while your inept father was sitting on his ass chomping on some noodles and sour chicken."

Namely because he decided to hold a tournament to prove to himself, and to everybody else that he's the best, which is much more of a Goku thing than a Vegeta thing. Especially since it gave the Z-Fighters time to train and prepare for the final battle, whereas somebody like Vegeta would be more inclined to not give his enemies that chance.

I think he had more potential to be a good guy, because he didn't want just destruction like Buu or anything material like Frieza. He had mentioned he just wanted fun, and he was kind of obsessed with fear. But he could be reasoned with more easily than Frieza and Buu. He mostly just wanted legitimate challenges.

It takes all types. Dragonball had every kind of villain from the saturday morning villain of Pilaf to the " join me brother" Raditz style villain. The ruler of an empire frieza. The ( prove I'm stronger Cell) the I want revnege super genius , Dr Gero. And even the unleashed destroyer Majin Buu. The series really had a wide variety of villain types.

Cell is pretty bad. There is zero reason for him to even be a villain once he becomes perfect. He could just have fun fighting the Z-warriors and then leave and explore the universe, then come back to fight again if he is bored and see how strong they have become. He would've been an excellent True Neutral character. Frieza and King Piccolo were Lawful Evil, using their own systems to exploit and rule the population. Buu is a bit more layered as every form of his has a different personality. Like Fat Buu didn't even know that he was doing bad things until Mr. Satan told him and then he just stopped, making him more Chaotic Neutral, while Super Buu just wanted to fight a good challenger, a bit like Cell and Kid Buu was the only Chaotic Evil character in the manga (movies added a few more like Janemba or Broly).

I hope you guys didnt forget that cell absorbed thousands if not hundreds of humans in his first form to gain power levels

Bruce falconer made alot of memorable tracks, but cells theme is by far his best imo I just cant bring myself to watch kai even though DBZ is TERRIBLY paced just because i know id miss out on those OSTs
