I was so disappointed when in End Game all the portals opened up and all the superheroes showed up, there wasn't a scene in which Coulson just walked out of a portal with his massive gun that he doesn't know what it does.

The need for some form of absolution of death is the reason why coulson never returned to MCU. The Avengers still think he is dead.

Coulson has some of his best lines on AOS. For example when someone scoffed at the idea that Ghost Rider made a deal with the Devil to gain his powers Coulson said "The rationalist in me agrees, but 'skull on fire' makes a compelling argument for 'Hail, Satan.'"

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was a pretty underrated show, tbh. Every MCU movie while it was going on affected it in a big way. Hydra having infiltrated them, the aftermath of Age of Ultron and Civil War, etc. And the character arcs are mostly great. Fitz-Simmons are my favorite duo in awhile.

Don't worry about Chloe Bennet anymore, she doesn't date one of the Paul's. I definitely recommend checking out the TV show but do be warned it gets pretty weird

Yeah that's just how much of a literal legend Coulson is. He literally sacrificed himself so that the avengers would work together and then casually literally came back from the dead just so he could continue working.

@@jamesbaker2092 He didn't die for 8 seconds, he was really dead for days. His heart literally torn to pieces. He never went to Tahiti, those memories were put into his brain to replace what really happened. He went through a procedure from something called project T.A.H.I.T.I which was meant to resurrect a fallen Avenger. All of it was done with him conscious because they needed his feedback during the process. Those memories were too painful and had the risk of driving him insane and he had lost the will to live so they replaced those memories with a nice recovery in Tahiti.

A wise decision but that damage is done, she was at his joke of a fight, many of his vlogs and it'll take a while to shed that baggage but her leaving him is where we begin to move on and wish her all the best as she finds someone better.

If you love the character you really should give Agent's of shield another shot, he puts on a stellar performance and the rest of the cast are all able to not only keep up but put on their own brilliance it really does have a different feel from the mcu but it's more about the people than the fighting

Would highly recommend giving AoS another shot, it's tied with Daredevil for me as top MCU TV. Clark Gregg is excellent and the development of all the characters from season 1 to now is incredible.

@@nicholas8291 pretty decent, but def not the best season (my ranking would be 4,3,2,7,1,5,6) I still would have preferred that they didn't do any time travel, but i'm fine with it. I especially enjoyed the last three episodes, they did good character work. The chronicoms are lame as fuck though, especially after episode 7, they are a complete non-threat. Malick is kinda lame too and the actor is bad. I am kinda worried that they're gonna have to cramp too much though. There's 4 (really 3, because the teaser for episode 10 is about the afterlife stuff) episodes left where they're gonna have to put the triskellion being blown up prematurely, the answer to where fitz and the rest of shield are, as well as a good finale.

Definitely recommend Agents of Shield. It's such a good show! The first season drags a little but there's a very specific reason why. I don't wanna spoil it for anyone who doesn't know, but the back end of season 1 features a wonderful "Good Place" level plot twist that changes the direction of the show for... virtually the entirety of the series.

Masterpiece is a strong word. While I disagree, I fully accept that you feel that way and that it is one to you. To me though, it’s ok. Has some issues. Drags on here and there. Some plot lines are dumb. Worth watching for sure, just not something I consider a masterpiece. I once said, “a fever you can’t sweat out is a phenomenal album.” I was told, “it’s good. But it’s not phenomenal.” I replied, “in my ranking and feeling of musical albums, it’s phenomenal.” Final response to me, “no. It is not objectively good enough to be considered phenomenal by anyone. It’s good.” I was slightly dumbstruck and said we’d just have to agree to disagree on that. This is for people who don’t think it’s a masterpiece. Just because you agree with me that it’s not, doesn’t change the validity of how this person sees or classifies the show. Just throwing this out in case someone comes here trying to put down your statement that it’s a masterpiece.

I gotta disagree a bit, Agents of shield is genuinely amazing. Season 1 was definitely meh up until the finale, but season 2 and onwards progressively goes from cool to balls to the wall awesome. Coulson becomes Ghost Rider at one point and it's metal. Also yeah Chloe Bennet dated Logan Paul for a bit.....but we don't like to talk about that bc she's a pretty cool person aside from that and her character, Daisy Johnson, is just the best.

Only thing I hated was them making Chloe Bennet Quake, that one short haired agent they have in later seasons looks more like the comic book version than Chloe and would have made a better Quake. Never saw Chloe as Quake specially knowing how tough and professional Quake is in the comics. In the series she's constantly ignoring orders and making stupid calls that get's them in trouble.But other than that one complaint I love the show.

Agents of SHIELD is an amazing tv show. Coulson is fleshed our way more then in the movies. Chloe Bennet did date Logan Paul for a bit but she seems like a great person besides for that. You are definitely missing out.

Agents of SHIELD isn’t perfect but it’s definitely good. I’d say it’s peak comic book television.

Watch Agents of SHIELD! The people involved are pretty good, one of the most talented casts and well written plots I've seen + Chloe is not with Logan Paul thankfully.

I thought the first season was a great set up for the series as a whole, it maybe a bit slow out of the gates bit the character development is on point and watching the growth of each character as a person through out the series is amazing.

I personally found season 6 a bit meh, [spoilers incoming] the fact that sarge had coulsons face was a weird plot point to me in my opinion but I guess they needed a reason for the team to trust him.

Wrong about the TV show, I agree Season 1 and some of 2 are dull until Captain America Civil War shakes it all up, 3 and 4 are fantastic, and season 5 onward might as well be a different show but still fantastic, and goes back to reference the early episodes. Season 7 is on at the moment, and I'm genuinely going to miss it once it's gone. Henry Simmons (Mack) and Natalia Cordova-Buckley's (Yo-Yo) addition is what makes the show for me. Elizabeth Henstridge (Simmons) and Ming-Na Wen (May) are class acts throughout.

AFAIK, Coulson originated in the MCU, before being put into the comics. Sorta like Harley Quinn was.

I still love the A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to New Mexico short where he kicks the robber's ass with a bag of flour in the gas station. One of the best one on one action sequences ever.

I don’t think it’s fair to judge Chloe Bennet or the show on her past relationship with Logan. She had been pretty cool and generally a great person besides that. The show is some of marvels best work.

Ghost Rider, Deathlok, Absorbing Man, the Patriot and many other great characters were brought to life in Agents of SHIELD. It's truly a great experience. All I'll say is that you are missing out on the best marvel has to offer. None of the D+ shows will live up to it. It's one of a kind.

I haven't met anyone who has watched more than 1/2 of the first season of AOS that has a bad word to say about it. The first half of the first season is very "monster of the week" but once it deals with the winter solider twist it becomes a whole new show, well worth the watch

Don't your dare diss Agents Of Shield, it's a great show and Chloe Bennett only started dating Logan Paul after season 4 or 5. I'd say agents of shield is better than most of the arrowverse shows

Agents of SHIELD is actually a pretty cool show! :) It has some great characters and some fantaaaaastic actors. Is it the best show ever, absolutely not. BUT it is ALOT of fun if you're into the MCU. It also really did it best to work along side the movies. So events from movies do also happen in the show and have impact on the story ^^ Plus why would you deny yourself soo much Coulson ;)

As a fan of Agents of SHIELD, when Chloe started dating asshole I wasnt mad I was like "omg hun wtf are you doing? Nooooooo nobody deserves to have to put up with someone like that" it's such a good show tho, definitely the best superhero show on tv🥰 (best superhero show in general atm I'd say is doom patrol, but it's on streaming so I can get away with saying AOS is the best one on tv when trynna get people to watch it😂)

@@siriuslywastaken yes but, a source that has been very credible with things about upcoming marvel movies, says that she is set to make an appearance in avengers 5. And it makes sence with her being like a daughter to Phil Colson someone so beloved they wrote him into the comics and the fact that she also has "super" ability, it would be perfect timing to bring chloe bennet in on a movie contract
