Naruto and Sasuke I decided to analyze and count every single jutsu that was used in this fight cause I kinda wanted to complete my holy trifecta of fights in the Naruto franchise.

well... in my opinion, if naruto had not scratched sasukes headband in the end but attacked something else, it could be a draw but everyone forgets it. And Naruto just wanted to prove that he can scratch that headband that sasuke told him on the hospital rooftop. So he won the bet.

Naruto never said he wanted to prove that he could scratch Sasuke’s headband💀 His sole desire was to prevent Sasuke his best friend from going to Orochimaru and bring him back to Leaf. If loses this fight, chances are he would never see Sasuke again, and Orochimaru will consume his body. Which would waste all the efforts of his potentially dead comrades like Choji and Neji.

@@sinbad7090 bro what are you talking about. Sasuke had started to get really jealous of naruto since Itachi choked him XD. Sasuke wanted to fight naruto and they had this little chat at the beginning about putting on konoha headband and sasuke disrespected it and also said that he couldn't even scratch his forehead. When you watch their fight in the Valley of the end after their last rasengan/chidori clash at the end of the fight, u can see that they attacked something they aimed for. Sasuke aimed for something i dont remember now correctly but naruto aimed for the forehead. Like be real man. It's connected. You should rewatch it. Also it proves that naruto could attack something else

Yeah that’s actually just a coping mechanism for fans that can’t accept the fact that Naruto lost. Naruto never gave a shit about scratching sasukes headband he literally told sasuke that wasn’t the point. That was just sasuke being arrogant the whole headband scratch part is meaningless. What the headband actually meant was Naruto and sasuke fighting as equals. Which is why sasuke put the headband on because he finally respected Naruto as an equal after understanding his pain.

@@justthefacts6902 then explain to me the scene when naruto and sasuke stare each other to the eye with this kinda sad/nostalgy face in this weird space after rasengan/chidori clash. After that sasuke attacked naruto on this one place i dont remember correctly (but thats not important) and naruto was caught off guard. How pretty CONVENIENT that in this short amount of time he though about scratching THIS PLACE where the HEADBAND is, and didn't attack his chest or something. Like man. You cant say to me that he was stupid and it was a total coincidence. Like be real man. Honestly, Naruto landed like 5 or more fight ending blows, some of which should've been instant death for Sasuke like the massive multishadowclone whip move he did. Like, did Sasuke borrow Garra's sand gord to protect him from that impact? Dude's 12 and got knocked out being hit into a tree like a week before the hospital trip he just woke up from when he fought Itachi, now he's being smashed into mountains and coming out virtually unharmed. Like damn, Sasuke got those 10 Tails jinchuriki heals on him in this fight

Naruto purposefully stopped his rasengan and let the chidori pierce his shoulder to scratch Sasuke's headband to prove to Sasuke that he can scratch his forehead and to prove their equals. Use a brain, why would Naruto stop clashing with Rasengan mid clash to scratch his headband? If you can’t see that then you’re just a biased Sasuke fanboy who just wanted to see him win while disregarding all of Naruto’s abilities.

Just remember one thing, Naruto never fought Sasuke to kill him, unlike Sasuke going at Naruto to end it all. That’s the reason why he was able to defend against cloak mode.

The biggest point to credit Naruto was that he faced Sasuke after a whole gauntlet of fights from before, even facing Kimimaru for some time. That was a lotta effort from him, while Sasuke was chilling on a barrel for 90% of the time and faced Naruto with full health.

I think in the series Sasuke has the best defense against Talk no Jutsu. Naruto really needed to work for a win with him. Most of the series his response was a power up. It took loosing an arm and not being able to move or he’d bleed out to give Naruto a chance.

Personally. I feel like Sasuke did really will because despite naruto's increase in power. He didn't exactly let himself get overwhelmed and managed to fight back every time. Like, on for example when Sasuke is older and goes against killer bee in his cloak Sasuke gets destroyed. Yes ik killer bee is more skilled and is friends with his tailed beast. But here against naruto it's very clear he had a chance

You gotta be high if you think Naruto Taijutsu was horrible, since he had Shadow Clones his Taijutsu improved a lot, and don't bring up that he has only Shadow Clones because powerful characters like Hashirama spams Wood Style to death and Minato spams FTG didn't see him use a single elemental attack yet, but people like you always go on Narutos ass for shit that he does in the show when literally everyone in the god damn show spams the same fucking jutsu or element.

While the final, final battle is hella good, and a spectacle to behold. This battle is the one that stays in my mind as my favourite. The emotional investment, and genuine tension cap off all the tension from aprt 1 perfectly. And kishimoto fucking nailed it being close with each stepping up over the other as it goes.

Sauske reached Kage level in beginning of Shippuden, Naruto did it in the Pain fight with Sage Kode. During this fight, would Kage level Naruto and Sauske struggle? Absolutely not. Yamato, Guy(base), Kakashi(Naruto), and Neji(Shipuden)would be able to fight against them in this stage. If you take Orochimaru, Jaraiya, Tsunade, Naruto(sage), Sauske(Shippuden) to take them on here it would be over kill.

If Naruto summoned Gamabunta Sasuke would have been brought back to the Village 😂 I feel like the Writers should have at least made Naruto summon a small toad for comedic purposes just to show Naruto still had things to work on. It was already apparent he was Training with Jiraiya and using Summoning Jutsu.

Saw this in 3rd grade and 4 times in this battle I thought Sasuke killed Naruto, like when Sasuke threw the kunai making it bounce off the other one before wrapping up the metal wires around Naruto setting him on fire, when Sasuke pierced his shoulder with the chidori, when Naruto's stomach was on the lava, and finally when he screamed "it's too late now, Narutooooooooo!!" and went WWE on him

I mean, naruto getting great at taijutsu, is in no way surprising when you think about how many times he uses multi shadow clone jutsu and goes ham on people. He kicked Gaaras ass with that combo. And all that tai jutsu experience just kept being absorbed. Despite not knowing that shadowclones sped up learning, the way he fought in the beginning when basically all he knew was shadow clone, transformation jutsu, and taijutsu took advantage of the feature.

Amazing fight! to this day i still think its the best rivalry in anime. The impact this battle had on Naruto going forward was immense. Sasuke left assured that his decision was correct and that he needed to be stronger. But naruto felt powerless and returned to his village feeling like a failure.

Honestly, I loved his curse mark here but it was mainly because of how cool Ultimate Ninja 3 was. I just loved that ps2 game more than anything at a point in time. I used to do valley of the end, Naruto Sasuke all the time just because of the hype.
