Yeah when i heard him saying that i thought wow how can he say that when jack just beat the former champion and most definitely won that first fight. That said i dont think he meant that he'd never get one but meant he'll never get the title shot next, i think jack actually deserves a title shot considering he was robbed of the title and again just beat a former undisputed champion.

I really don't see the big deal. I had it 117-112 Caterall (one round even). Josh's team claiming he won is pathetic. He got completely schooled for the entirety of the first half of the fight.

Misleading headline. He said scorecards were a disgrace and was actually very respectful and honest about both fighters. I thought he was spot on. V close fight, I had JC shading it and much closer than first fight which JC won easily. Tonight could have gone either way. Class interview from a top trainer in the face of a loss.

Losing on points means some improvement is needed, being stopped is different entirely, thats a proper loss, back to the drawing board for josh, i know its different in boxing but in a real fight, u havent lost until youve quit or been stopped, doesnt matter if u were losing when u ran out of time, if u didnt quit u didnt lose is the best way to think when u lose on points imo.

It's what people call karma, it was close but Jack won this match up. He deserved the win as those belts should of been draping over his shoulders at the last match up. Will a trilogy resolve the out right winner. No , Jack needs to put this behind him now and move onto titles. Respect to both fighters, best man won.

These people would be better off avoiding saying anything straight after the fight. Obviously they’ve put a lot of time in and want their man to win but Taylor didn’t win that. Funnily enough it was closer than the last fight ( which Caterall DOMINATED ) so you’d think there’d be a little more diplomacy on show.🤷🏼‍♂️

Josh Taylor lost the fight in my opinion, I gave it 7-5 in favour of Catterall, I want to see Jack Catterall go into the fight with Teofimo Lopez next. I think Taylor should have moved up in weight as soon as he became undisputed. However the judges score cards were far too wide, the fight was closer than they made it out to be.

In my opinion, 30 years ago, the best Josh wld have won is a Lonsdale belt. And Catterall too. I do thonk Jack probably won but commentators need to stop saying grt shots when they hit the gloves. Same as Fury last week. I think Kambosis and these guys are at the same level. A notch below top level

Catterall won that fight by 2 rounds 7-5. Taylor was gun shy I thought and smothered his work. Every punch thrown at 100mph. Lack of head movement and was defo admiring his work to much which lead to him getting hit a lot

What fight did this guy watch? Jack Catterall outclassed Josh Taylor for the second time Only this time he was not robbed apart from the world title that Jack should have had two years ago. I would definitely watch a 3rd fight but it is obvious that Jack has Joshes number and I can't ever see Josh beating Jack period.

The guys delusional, josh didn’t win the last round he lost 11&12 and a lot of the early rounds. No way josh won 6 rounds it’s that simple so to think he won just pathetic. Yeah the judges had it wide but at least they got the right man, it’s better than robbing someone of being undisputed then swerving the fight for 2 years

7-5 Catteral is a fair score. Josh squared it after 8 rounds. Imo Catterall won 3 of the last 4 from cleaner shots

In all honesty I thought Josh started well and took took the first 2 with his intensity however I felt he switched off for some reason and I also feel he doesn’t cope with Jacks style very well. I felt it was a draw personally with Jack again landing the cleaner of the shots and not taking anything to heavy himself however Josh again did switch back on again in later rounds. Jack for sure won the first fight however those score cards were pretty ridiculous. I believe a draw would have been about right with that fight it was an intense close back and fourth. Josh has to take it on the chin just like Jack did that’s the way it goes There needs to be a third to determine it I do believe Jack has Josh’s number regarding his style . Josh can’t seem To cope with him. Would be interesting to see Jack in with Lopez

People need to realise that you don't score pressure. Josh was coming forward but not landing clean. If you land on the gloves and shoulders they are not scoring shots! 117-111 isn't a bad card at all!! I had it 116-112 and I felt I was kind to Taylor

@@slickdon1 like I said, I gave Taylor 4 rounds but there was a swing round in there that I gave to Taylor too. If that goes the other way then he only wins 3 rounds. This fight was not close at all, watch it properly and see who is landing what

Josh Taylor was a good champion and beat the top boys fairly to gain belts but after many a war and losing a couple of fights I think it’s clear his best days are over, his team are delusional and definitely making fools of themselves with this latest spout….Take the L guys and credit where it’s due as Catterall beat your guy fair and square.

I hate when almost in every high/higher level boxing match now there some sort of delusion, its almost like we forgot how to score the fights after decades of sport. When its controversy or arguable I get it ,but that does not mean every fight is now a controversy, Catterall did a lot better and won the fight without a question, stop crying and go home. Josh is not what he used to be anymore, Josh I have known would have destroyed Teo as well, its not happening anymore.

Irrespective of the result those involved with Josh need to stop blowing smoke up his backside.The Taylor who beat Prograis and Ramirez would have schooled Catterall but that version of Josh no longer exists.Taylor has looked bone dry at recent weigh ins and thats because he struggles to make the weight.Hes 33 now and the weight issue plus inactivity have done him no favours.If i were advising Josh i would tell him to hang up his gloves and only those making money out of him will tell him to keep fighting
