Mira, the way you improv those decorative motifs just blows our mind! This video shows that a highly skilled artist can get good results with entry-level paints, but we think beginners might struggle with those thin, less pigmented colors. We'd love to see some side-by-side comparisons of similar projects with professional-grade colors!

My favourite thing in this video is the montage of Mira just buying the art supplies and seeing what she chooses. I love Mira style in her artworks especially the ones with smiley faces 😊

A q&a spa day would be kinda fun, even if it is for paint brushes!! OOOH! IDEA!: If you can find a glass terrarium that is in the shape of a house, you can paint on the inside of it in the same style as your greenhouses, and then you could have a 3D mini greenhouse painting!

This would be a great series. They all came out so beautifully, but I was hoping that you would paint the sides of the mug, it would have finished it off. What is the difference between painting things on paper or canvas and painting on shaped wooden objects? Love it! It did not seem long. You could break the painting up into a few more videos so it would not feel so rushed and you could finish off the pieces in a more relaxing way. Love your positive energy. Thank you for a great video.

I think it is corn starch you can add to the see through paints to thicken them up. Supposed to make it so you don’t have to use as many coats. Hate those super see through colors. Always a joy to watch you create.

I feel very inspired to paint random objects now. Started painting one.of my brush storage buckets while I watched. For some reason it just didn't occur to me that I could customise things until.I watched this. It's a lot of fun. Thank you. Also I usually say roof though now I'm trying to figure out where someone would be from that they would say ruff. Accents are fascinating.

The paint you got from target they are all no matter the brand only as good as craft/poster paint and kid quality. Golden are top of the line professional grade and are beautiful and easy to work with because your not fighting with the paint constantly

If you have cornstarch on hand, mix it with the cheap paint you got and it will be so much better. Lot more coverage and not as thin/watery anymore. Saw this hack somewhere and it really helps these cheap paints a lot

Oh, I’m excited to have found this fun channel! Just an FYI: right now they have a cute wood caddy for $5 in the “dollar” section at Target. It says “hot cocoa” on the front, for some reason, and it holds a pretty good amount of art supplies.

I bought a few of the wooden rainbows during the summer, and each of my kids painted them. They're now year-round decorations in our home. 😊

You are channeling Moriah Elizabeth apparently - she has a "Thrift Store Makeover" series, where she finds stuff at a thrift store/charity shop etc and repaints/redesigns it. Sometimes it will just be stuff like you did today where they're just cute things that you paint to match your own style, or are in need of a few touch ups/a bit of TLC and sometimes it will be a more extensive makeover where she has added to an object using polymer clay or epoxy resin to make it more her style. If you haven't seen it definitely check out her channel (she has a slight pastel rainbow obsession but we don't judge her too harshly for it! 😂) There are tons of ideas to do to upcycle things and she also has a series about what arts/crafts ideas you can do when you're bored which would pair well with your sketchbook ideas series. Loved the video Mira! I'm all for longer videos seeing your beautiful face and hearing your news, opinions, ideas etc while watching you make adorable art stuffs! 😁
