I think the bunny is returning from market. She just went for the bread but couldn't pass up a treat for the walk home. She's holding the bread behind her back so that she doesn't drip ice cream on it! :)

I saw the fish and immediately thought of the rainbow fish. I love the bunny! It’s definitely odd and horror movie worthy, but in the cute creepy kinda way.

Aww. The bunny looks so sweet with the colours you chose. I actually like it now and didn't think I would. The bunny no longer looks creepy to me. The fish platter is also so cool. You really enhanced it. I really enjoy these thrift store make-over videos. They are so calm and cozy and such a great way to give things a second life.

I’m in love with the fish. All the time you were painting the fish, I kept saying use the pearlized or color shift paint on the scales. You are a very talented young lady. You make my days so enjoyable, thank you Mira.

3:53 every time someone says fish out of water it reminds me of when we were little, and one of the many time times we went to Florida on vacation. We were staying in a hotel and there was a British family staying at the hotel also. We were at the swimming pool and we were playing Marco Polo with their kids. Every time someone would get out of the pool or they thought someone was getting out of the pool, they would yell “fish outta wata!” in that beautiful British accent. And to this day anytime someone says fish out of water we say it with that accent. Lol 😊

The bunny was a massive improvement!! It’s adorable now. Yeah, still an odd object but now it’s a beautiful odd object. Love the fish, although I was hoping for some neon orange on top of the yellow. I’m just personally obsessed with bright orange and bright blues together. Love your channel! I’m a new sub. You’re very entertaining! ❤

I have made over a few napkin holders from dollarama because why not, lol I use them to hold my iPad, phone, tablet when charging. Endless opportunities there... just a matter of who's gonna want them. They're fun, and I'd do 100 more, but nobody NEEDs it, and Noone is buying them, so it's a hard thing for me to continue doing. But I love the idea and definitely think the angle of an affordable, multipurpose, handpainted item is wonderfully lovely 😍 ❤

I looked at the fish and saw the blue part as the ocean and the yellow part as the sand and the fin was like a wooden bridge thingy to fish from. I would've painted it like that Love how u painted the scales. Gave it a tile look. Its so pretty😍

Love the huge, colorful fish--and I'm sure the twins will, too! Letting them find it outside is such a fun idea =) I didn't think the bunny was creepy, just weird. Surely there's a message about junk food vs. real food there... I hope you'll let us know what the friend's reaction was, along with your kiddos to the fish =)

The fish looks great! Yes, please do another thrift haul! I want to see what you do with that napkin holder and whatever other treasure you find. I was curious about that rabbit figurine and did find that the Beatrix Potter story "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" mentions old Mrs. Rabbit buying a 'loaf of brown bread' but does not mention an ice cream cone, LOL. I don't find it creepy, but the facial expression is definitely not cute!

Oh I love thrift store makeovers 😍 please do as much as you like 😊 I love the fish!!! It looks so bright and happy! I painted over a picture frame that had teddies on it in the same style of the bunny. It took so long to paint. There were so many gaps to get the paint in gah! Hahaha I wonder if they use a special watercolour paint to hand paint them 🤔 I really like the colours you chose to paint the bunny. I don't think she's creepy. She reminds me of a character that would fit into the peter rabbit stories

A great purchase that helps so much in so many ways is to grab up a second hand cake spinner. I am honestly shocked that you didn't cover the giant fish in the Unicorn Milk by Stuart Semple as a top coat 😂

Love the bunny! Totally in to altering thrift store items. In my senior year of high school, I worked at Longaberger in Dresden hand-painting resin tie-ons and miniature versions of various Longaberger properties, so I think it depends on the manufacturer? Like Boyd’s Bears figures are possibly hand painted but stuff like Homco figures are maybe more likely to be machine painted. Which Columbus area thrift stores do you recommend? I’m in Licking County and the Goodwills and thrift shops here have been light on good thrift items and more clothes and bin stuff, plus the prices are rising ridiculously!

I'm in love with the rainbow fish makeover!! 🥰💖 It reminded me of some of the Swedish furniture you have to start with. But rainbow fish is iconic!! ❤ I'm not sure there was much you could do for that bunny without using air dry clay to turn the bread into an egg basket and the ice cream cone into a bouquet of flowers... 💐 It makes sense that it was from dollar tree. Prank surprise is a great use for it!! 👍

Honestly, that bunny (both before and after) isn’t as creepy as some other trinkets and vintage decorations/items out there. For reference, I’m a doll collector, however that doesn’t mean I like all dolls out there. There are some current brands/types of dolls as well as some vintage dolls that I find creepy or ugly. Other people like them. To each their own.

I think you did the bunny looks better , Love the fish looks great , I have fairies that I painted they all came white from Walmart so I painted them and they look great now and have them on my porch and through out my house as I love the Fairies , and had fun making them look great other then being all white and then just put special stuff on them to seal them so they would be ok outside. love repainting things from thrift store I have done Table tops ,made a fairy Table at grandchildren's request they loved it as I painted all the ones they wanted me to so was fun doing that and they loved seeing them come to life. Have also painted end tables old ones from thrift store and made them art pieces so much Fun. love your work dear 💖

1:01 your twins are already two years old? Wow! I don’t know why I’m surprised because I know how fast time goes by especially since I turned 38 four years ago!! (How did that happen? Haha 42 came fast! Im still young and full of life though!) but man it’s crazy! What am I talking about? Lol my first born is 24. Haha 😂 talk about time flying! You cannot even begin to imagine how quickly it goes by. I know we’re told that when we’re younger, but there’s no way to really imagine how fast it is, because it seems so long when you’re in it, while at the same time passing so quickly. Time is a crazy thing.
