@@ThatBoxingGuy So i just got the everlast MX in 12oz, and man are they small. But one thing that really struck me is how uncomfortable they were, i think 12oz may have been too small. There seems to be a roll at the fingertips that prevented me from making a good fist and i felt like i was pushing against it while trying to make a fist. might exchange for a 16oz, maybe that'll be better

@@ThatBoxingGuy Yeah, I was surprised by the Everlast MX's, I just got done talking with customer service, so hopefully I can exchange for a pair of 16oz. They look really nice and I love that shade of red that they have. Yeah, I figured that not many would be as protective as the safetecs besides winnings or custom grants. If I do ever pull the trigger on winnings, it'll probably be for 16oz sparring gloves. I had actually emailed Mr. Kazumichi about it, but right now shipping from Japan is cancelled or delayed due to the reduction of flights.

Are they in the pro gloves? Mine are like that in both pairs, I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be exposed, Cause for me it’s in areas where my hand doesn’t touch the foam

@@ThatBoxingGuy It was in the inner lining where the two pieces of fabric meet and are stitched, except they did not stitch mine fully haha.

@@krishanattri9305 Mine are the training gloves. My left one is seals and stitched correctly while my right one is exposed haha

@@krishanattri9305 They will be defective because once that sweat or water touches the padding, it will break down fast. They also said that there was nothing wrong with my gloves and that "they dont miss their stitching." I guess their QC went downhill at least for me

Yeah bro, Everlast MX are the crème de la crème of punchers gloves with how deflated they are! haha

@@ishtiaqahmed-iw4ww That's what I was wondering. Because Floyd Mayweather was complaining about how they didnt have enough padding and it looked deflated when he was pressing on the knuckle area of Maidanas custom gloves.

i like to open my hands on the bag just to put it in my muscle memory/instinct/habit/whatever. i got in a bit of a bad way always using training gloves. but that could just be me.

Hii do you feel hurt for heavy bag when using the horse hair gloves? Or just using it for light training? Thank you

@@ThatBoxingGuy hii thank you for your replied. I just want to hear your opinion, because in my place almost no other heavy person wearing horse hair for training. Because for me, fight gloves have better shape and beautiful for collections lol

@@ThatBoxingGuy Thanks for the reply. I currently use the safetecs on the mitts and Heavy bag, but I want the WBC Cleto Reyes pro fight version. That color way is beautiful.

@@goated_mf They lasted me about a year and a half with heavy use. I ended up switching to Winning 10oz gloves for bag work.

@@kedie4288 usually for sparring it’s good to use 16 ounce gloves so that you don’t hurt your training partners. Fight gloves are really small so they can injure people who are training for fights. So most places have the rule that you can’t spar in gloves smaller than 16 oz. Hope this helps, brother.

I could be wrong... always thought Reyes had fight gloves with horsehair and difference between old ones and new ones was the addition of the foam in the Safetec, otherwise they both had horsehair.

Safetec has just foam. It is for training.
